PS Vita is the best handheld ever created, but it doesn't have the exclusive titles that will "force" people to buy it.Sure there are some great examples such as Uncharted:Golden Abyss,Killzone Mercenary,Tearaway,Little Big Planet but that's not enough after 2 year that the machine has been in the market.
Times are changing, and these games would have never been made in today's climate.
Every single time someone uses this phrase whether it's music, movies, books, comics, video games, etc it's always the same claim.
The ubiquitous "they" won't allow it to be made. And every decade these claims are made the claimant completely ignores all the "offensive" material that is published when the claim is made.
In ten years, you can write a new article about how you can't make games like Helldivers 2, Resident Evil VIII, Mortal Kombat I, Dragon's Dogma 2, Alan Wake 2 etc etc etc any more.
Dead Island: "The early PC version of the zombie game swapped the playable character Purna’s Gender Wars skill with a prototype name, which shouldn’t be mentioned directly. The skill name made fun of both Purna as a character and feminists."
"Feminist Whore" lmao
ill add one more to the list.
drakengard 1.
its ridiculous tho, especially since they'd still be able to find their place in alot of places in the world. except america of course ha. and maybe Australia.
ppl are so sensitive these days. ha. but it is what it is.
They're not offensive.
And we need another Fat Princess. Fantastic little game!
Some people just have no sense of humour if this sort of thing offends them. They need to lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously.
The first Killzone game never met lofty expectations of dethroning Xbox’s Halo, but if any game needs a PS5 remake, this is the one.
I like Halo, but I don't think there is any need for a 'Halo Killer' at this point. If anything, the franchise is slowly undermining itself by making some of the dumbest mistakes possible. Infinite has finally reached a good point in terms of multiplayer, but it took an extra 2 years to get there. Meanwhile, the single-player experience is fine but rather mediocre when compared to the franchise peak.
That said, I would like to see the Killzone franchise back, if anything, to offer more variety to the PS5 exclusive catalog.
I'd love a killzone trilogy, fully remastered on a single disc like they did with Uncharted. Maybe they could make it the full killzone saga including PSP and Vita games converted to console.
I've never liked the idea of a 'franchise killer', why can't both thrive, without one killing off the other? Its such a childish mentality.
That being said, if there ever was a true 'Halo killer', then it would have to be 343 Studios, and the Xbox division. They're doing a fine job killing off their own IP, apparently.
Halo doesn't need to be killed, they've done that themselves. It's a shell of its former self.
A detailed look at Gran Turismo 7's new track Grand Valley, judging its evolution from its former design and layout in Gran Turismo 6, side by side.
Just got confirmation my PSVR2 is shipping by 24 hour courier, so I should have it tomorrow! I know nobody else cares, but I had to tell someone lol
GT7 will be my first game, as I want to test out my wheel - so excited - it's going to be awesome!
It would have sold a lot, if this two games came out for the PS Vita Exclusively and would have brought more fan to the base.
It wouldn't sell as much as on the ps3...
I feel the exact same way!
No they shouldn't. The home console is their main platform and that's where they need to have the big hitters. I love my Vita and would like more games for it, but I would hate to have games like that forced exclusively on the Vita just to pump sales. Those are games that if I can I want to play on the big screen. I wouldn't have minded ports with ctoss save function so I can also play away from the TV, but I wouldn't want to have only the option to play on the Vita.
I think vita should have its own GT series. A custom built GT that takes advantage of vitas hardware features would be awesome. Maybe some hard to get car upgrades only available in certain manufactures regions. Could emphasize trading with friends or randoms from different regions to build what you want.
Ie: If you live in US and want to max out a nissan you'd have to trade with someone from asia a stage 5 engine turbo for a similar upgrade for a mustang. Though that would probably tick a few people off I guess.
