They pretty much mean the game is set after the first Borderlands, but before Borderlands 2

You can't really call it a "prequel" because that usually means "before the first game"

It's = to starting a trilogy with Book 1, then 3, then 2.

I was disagreeing about the fact that he is implying that they are buying people off. When they don't need to do that at this point with the Boarderlands I.P the name itself will sale games.

They did a mass pledge during the panel,which was rather smart(marketing purposes)but also done in a fun way. I am sure that when the video hits the internet the marketing folks put up their smiley faces.

Still giveaways like these are a great show of respect for the fans that wait for hours in in line at the hot and crowded conventions

I have always loved gearbox...and they have had a bad couple years. A multi generational release would have made more sense.

I absolutely loved Borderlands 2 and it is probably my favourite game of 2012, but I'm not feeling the hype for this Pre-Sequel. It just looks so much like 2, the guns look all the same. I get the feeling "this is a new game, yet I've used these guns already", unless they make up some really wierd and awesome stuff.

they arent doing the game any favors by keeping it off current gen systems, i know a few people that will probably not touch a ps3/360 again for a long time.

seems like there would be more people out there also that doesnt want to touch those consoles in a while considering how long they have been on the market.
