Elder Scrolls Online Launches Successfully in the UK, while Titanfall Overtakes inFAMOUS: Second Son

Elder Scrolls Online had a successful launch in last week’s UK Sales charts, debuting at Number 1 in the individual format chart and at number 2 in the all formats charts, beaten by FIFA thanks of the weight of its multiple formats.
In the other hand InFAMOUS: Second Son was overtaken by the Xbox One version of Titanfall in the individual format charts, and by Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes multiple platforms on the overall chart.

There's that Infamous drop I've been talking about, and you guys wouldn't believe me. Congrats to ESO, a lot higher than I expected, and Titanfall remains strong.

this only for the UK, a small market. and Titanfall is bundled free

inFAMOUS is still top in other Europe markets , Titanfall is way behind on the list..

@jimbobbeers

seems your the one that is wrong.

jimbobbeers3683d ago

I am thanks. Its nice to see people squirm because they were wrong.

Fireseed3683d ago

@NewMonday

Thanks! NewMonday folks! Reminding everyone with different opinions that while it may be good... it's still falling short of perfect...

thrust3683d ago

Can see USA charts being very much the same if not better titanfall is big over there!

NewMonday3683d ago

inFAMOUS tops another chart, and Titanfall doesn't even make the list ..

http://www.aesvi.it/cms/cha...

now it's safe to say inFAMOUS is still the top game in Europe for the 3rd straight week.

lilbroRx3683d ago

I love how the U.K. became the most important thing in the world when the Wii U wasn't doing so well in it and one again when the PS4 was showing great numbers, but now that something Sony related is falling behind something that isn't in it, its just the U.K...

The Hypocrisy of fanboys is just ridiculous.

Pro_TactX3683d ago (Edited 3683d ago )

@lilbroRx

I keep saying this, but it is only hypocrisy if it is the same people who are making the conflicting comments. If person A and person B are both fans of the same thing, and person A makes a statement that conflicts with a statement made by person B, then there is no hypocrisy.

It is ignorant to generalize people.

But you don't mention that the article states TitanFall sold 36% less than in previous weeks. I wonder why.
Infamous dropped so did TitanFall surprise surprise games sell a lot at launch then start to decline in sales.
BTW worldwide infamous is still doing pretty well.

aceitman3683d ago (Edited 3683d ago )

This is interesting but by how many copies , cause if it is straight software sales then it's safe to take away the number of x1's sold against physical copies on SS. (cause yes for every x1 sold a tiatinafall game is counted as sold)

AceBlazer133683d ago

Well, if vgchartz is anything to go buy inFamous outsold Titanfalll.
http://n4g.com/news/1488082...

So there's that Titanfall drop I told everyone about herp derp.Is U.K the important market now? Can't keep track with all the flip floppiness of Xbox fanboys.

Didn't think titanfalls staying power would be so good

TomShoe3683d ago (Edited 3683d ago )

FPS games normally have a lot of staying power, especially with the 360 release coming up.

NewMonday3683d ago

@B-radical

it's bundled for free, so even if people don't want it they still get it.

Kribwalker3683d ago

@new Monday
Uk is the biggest of the European markets you covet do much by a lot too, and you can assume that if titanfall is given free with every xbox one, and most people buying a PS4 right now would be buying infamous, then the xbox one would be currently outselling the PS4 in the UK.

lilbroRx3683d ago

Wow @Newmonday. Those tired old arguments. Haven't seen those since Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports top the world records for highest selling games.

Elder Scrolls Online has got me curious though. Why is no one talking about that? All I'm seeing are people trying to find way to dismiss the Titanfall sells.

Whitey2k3683d ago

I don't believe its x1 version of titanfall as infamous wad above titanfall I believe this could be the 360 version of titanfall as ut was just released

Abriael3683d ago

The 360 version of titanfall didn't release yet officially.

Gamer19823683d ago

Thats it delaying the 360 version was the best move for MS..

jimbobbeers3683d ago

UK charts, 360 version is not out here yet.

ltachiUchiha3683d ago

No surprise, it is on more platforms. Infamous SS is still doing well.

Abriael3683d ago

The Xbox One version by itself.

B-radical3683d ago

Why do people find it hard to believe

ltachiUchiha3683d ago

I never said, I didn't believe. Im just stating facts that titanfall is on more platforms. Even if the PC Version only sold 10 copies, that doesn't mean every copy sold was the XB1 version, am I correct? I rest my case.

gamertk4213683d ago

And that is why they also show individual games by system right below it. Nice reach, tho.

Fishy Fingers3683d ago

At least read the summary of the articles you comment on.

gillri3683d ago

PC sales are like 90% digital and not released on Xbox 360 yet

No_Limit3683d ago

@ltachiUchiha,

Well it has been over an hour, what is your response?

I have a feeling this news will not even going to get 250 degree due to the nature of the title. You gotta wait for the "insiderp" real UK chart stating the opposite and the heat will rise again. S/

ltachiUchiha3683d ago

If it makes u all sleep better at night, then good job on titanfall xb1 sales but am I wrong that it is on more platforms then just the XB1? So technically im right. Besides lets wait for numbers to announce.

vikingland13683d ago

@ItachiUchiha: And the ps4 is released in more countries sooo whats your point?

Anyways I sold my copy of Titanfall and I'm loving Infamous. But good to see stll.
