When people ask me, ‘what is your favourite game?’ and I reply with Hotline Miami I usually get one of two responses. Either ‘What is that?’ or ‘that looks horrible’. This is fine, it isn’t a well known game (at least seemingly among my peers), it is most certainly indie but it is such a perfectly crafted game.
Do you like hurting other people? Ten years later, it's probably the music that drove you to it, let's be honest.
Darksiders Genesis, Little Nightmares and Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number are also playable from today.
Terrible month. Detroit and Black Ops 3 (available for a limited time) are already in the PS Plus Collection, and Detroit was also a free game on PS Plus years ago. WWE 2K Battlegrounds is terrible. Only the smaller games that were added are good additions.
PS Plus is way better than PS Now right now (quality > quantity) and has been good for a long time, and great since the PS5 released. I was tempted to subscribe to PS Now over the holidays but I just didn't trust in the quality of the service. They need to up their game because the quality of the service is deteriorating. I'm starting to wonder if they're going to ditch PS Now as we know it and basically add it as an extra tier to PS Plus because that's what they've been prioritizing.
Great for me.
I was looking to play darksiders genesis...it's the last one I need to play. And little nightmares is another one I wanted to try.
The rest I've already played or am not interested. Overall I think they're great additions.
The 2010s occupy a difficult time slot in the world of gaming. The games aren't new enough to be "cool" but they aren't old enough to be "retro." So basically, they're cheap. Ghetto Gamer contributor Hyp3rblue digs deep--but not too deep--into gaming's past to see what we may have just missed.
Asura's Wrath was underrated and the dlc was one of the few times i actually felt like a dlc was worth the money.
Everytime I see a picture of Asura's Wrath I get a moment of happiness for knowing that niche game and then the realization of why it failed with the DLC that made me hate Capcom to the point of saying I wouldn't buy a game of theirs again!
(bought DMC5 on release)
well I agree this list is terrible. Had to click just to see how bad it was. If someone wanted to know wt the best games were this decade and stumbled upon this list they would think "wt happened to gaming in the 2010's" lol
I've just been playing it on PS3 and the music is stuck in my head. Great game though, i love retro trial and error games like those.
I'm on a boss fight where the dude has a knife (have to wait until he throws it into the wall and gets stuck) and it's pretty hard, admittedly i suck at this game though.....
Everything about this game is perfection.
I never really like Indie games but the PS4 giving them out like candy has made me look at them again. Don't Starve, Resogun, Dead Nation, Steamworld Dig and Guacamelee are some good ones. The one I just downloaded last night, Spelunky is probably the best one. I just couldn't get into Hotline, but hopefully part 2 is better.
I think I played this game for about month straight when it went free on PS+... that music... that damn music so freaking catchy. Great game, can't wait for the sequel.
Very good game but I would not say it is one of my favorite game .
