It's been said that Nintendo has already exhausted their franchises on the Wii and don't really have a lot up their sleeve for the next year or so since Brawl, Mario Kart Wii and other favorites have already made an appearance on the console, but we beg to differ. Join the Slobs as we dish out 20 games we want to see come to the Wii!
Major 2023 game anniversaries include The World Ends With You, Mario Kart Wii, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, among many others
Delays have become more common lately and several games have not been improved by it. Does delaying games work out better for Nintendo?
it depends, if you have a strong leadership, vision and focus for the project or game, delays can help alot because the person in charge knows what it needs to realize the task, but if you don't have that, delays could completely destroy your game, take for example Cyberpunk terrible management and end result, it wouldn't matter if they delayed the game even more cause the issue here is not time is the horrid management.
"but a rushed game is forever bad"
~ not in these days of day1 patches, subsequent hotfixes and continued updates.
And the over-reliance on these conveniences has given rise to sub-par deliveries.
“A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad.” To bad they didn't listen with Cyberpunk now look at it. Honestly I like a game that is pushed back work out all the kinks maybe add new things to the game. I don't liked rushed games pushed out the door call it done for the holiday sales. I also don't like remakes that have half the content cut and sold at full price like RE3 remake. I will gladly wait for a game that is not rushed and had the extra time worked on it it shows they actually cared for the game when making it. I can understand minor bugs and a few updates to correct the bugs but unlike Cyberpunk you patch as you go I hate.
The Pikmin 3 Wii U version has reappeared on the NIntendo eShop following its removal from the store after the announcement of Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch.
First before they do sequels or remake several of these games. A lot of things games (and characters) may be legends, but can be played out and if used to much can be a killer. IE. having another zelda game just a few years after having TP being ported? Don't think so.
Megaman = Yes - Please allow GC, Classic, Wiimote controller. Using Zero with the wiimote might be an interesting spin though.
Wrecking Crew = Maybe, Maybe not -This game seems just to similar to boom blox, I say wait a few months before adding our beloved plumper to the destruction field.
Kirby = HELL YES! - Being a fan of the kirby games (Even havng a kirby game for the N64 still I would say this would be a big hit!) Maybe even a remake of Kirby Airride for those who liked it. It would be able to utalize the wii wheel, making it so those who have MarioKart Wii won't have to buy another.
F-Zero = F**k Yes - Haven't played this game in a while, and for the love of god I hope it won't become a port.
Punch-Out, Super Dodge Ball, Wii Sports 2, Mario Strikers Overload = Think on those for quite some time...They seem like games that could woo kids and older adults, but seem like they might be a bit overplayed or not last to long. (Not specifically talking about MSOverLoad)
Few of the other games I'd say go for it, as long as it isn't a port and hopefully will have a great, hell even a good storyline. As long as it will have new elements to it that will make it fun and worthwhile I hope Devs remake some of these, and be wary of others.
I'm down for F-Zero and Wii Sports 2...better controls and new games ftw. I think megaman should be an artsy type game, because the older games was what made megaman great.
Starfox, pikmin, punchout and duckhunt please. Id take any number of the other ones too but the four I mentioned would be great for wii though maybe duckhunt would be a much better wiiware game. Whjich I think it will be anyway.
I'd be happy with complete Wii Sports Tennis and Golf games - exactly the same as on the Wii sports disc, but with singles mode and nunchuck player control for tennis, and at least 5 18-hole courses for golf. Throw in career modes and it's a sure winner.
Also Mike Tyson Punch~out i play that game on my NES Everyother weekend,i make up stuff like try not to take a hit fromstart to finish! ect ect...........
