Conception II is a Bundle of Joy for Vita and 3DS-Owning RPG Fans | Hardcore Gamer

Gamers in the United States have been incredibly lucky as of late, thanks to developers and publishers bringing titles from Japan Westward. Conception: Ore no Kodomo o Undekure! for PSP didn’t make it over, but that hasn’t stopped Atlus from localizing its sequel. Vita RPG Conception II: Children of the Seven Stars has been drawing attention thanks to its unique characteristics, rather than gameplay mechanics.

That's great to hear. I love the art style of the game.

It's a very interesting game, and I love how long the demo is. I still haven't gotten through it all yet. I'm 90% sure I'm going to pre-order this... If not, I'll definitely pick it up at some point soon.

PoSTedUP3719d ago

yeah it was great. Atlus makes some of my favorite jrpgs, you can see a lot of "persona" in this game, but, different. this demo caught me by suprise, i didnt think i was about to play something that was going to warrant a purchase... im definately getting it.

eternalwing3719d ago

Just to be clear. Spike Chunsoft is the developer of this game, not Atlus. Localizing is their job.

PoSTedUP3719d ago

oh... thanks! i didnt realize that. i just noticed the big "atlus" logo, and that its a lot like persona, and just assumed, lol.

i just saw this on amazon...hmm i want to buy but i have so many games already dat backlog just staring at me.

Like another person said, the 3ds version seemed watered down.
But this was very interesting, def bought.
Day 1.
The gameplay is good, if not id wait on it.

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory3719d ago

No the 3DS demo version is a tutorial. Vita demo version is Chapter 1 Prologue.

Snookies123719d ago (Edited 3719d ago )

So... Why was it different on 3DS as opposed to the Vita version? That's what I'm curious about. There must be a reason, as most demos are just the same thing on either system.

PoSTedUP3719d ago

yeah i was just talking about the demos. the full game will probably be the same on both, cept for graphics.

the 3ds demo seemed like it tried to attract new kids from the nintendo fanbase. while the vita demo tried to show playstation fans that there is a lot to this game and is much like their beloved persona franchise.

gano3719d ago

def unique in itself, but everything you said.
The vita felt more complete.
Gotdammit. Now i gotta go preorder.

Chaos_Raiden3719d ago (Edited 3719d ago )

Day one buy. Need more JRPGs on Vita.
