Whoever couldn't tell that last post was a joke......

It's a really good game.

Pascalini3701d ago

The game was a letdown just like the last one for me

Shad0wRunner3701d ago

How so?

Let me guess, you thought the game was too short? Probably cuz you...like so many other speedfreaks out there, rushed thru it...only going after the story missions. Instead of taking your time with it, exploring the city, doing all the side missions, collecting all the shards and maxing out your powers.

Let me guess, you liked Cole better? Disliking Delsin's personality and disposition towards collecting the powers.

Let me guess...you thought the level design was weak and lacking. Even tho SP basically recreated an entire city-sandbox, full of people, buildings, shops, restaurants, parks, subways, boat docks and piers. And in spite of all that, it just wasnt enough for you?

Let me guess....you thought the story-driven narrative, plot, was lacking and was boring in regard to Delsin Vs Augustine, Delsin Vs the DUP's or between Delsin and his brother Reggie....even tho it was fairly decent and served it's overall general purpose for the game.

Everyone's a critic and everyone has their own opinion's and tastes in games...but I tell you what, some people will complain about anything or are just too damn blind to know a "good game" if it smacked em upside the damn head.

To each their own...

Yes, the game is too short. I only did main missions in both the first 2 games in my first playthrough and got 16+ hours worth of gameplay time. This game took me 9 hours to complete the main story in comparison.

Flutterby3701d ago

Yes cos you Def played infamous on your xbone right lol troll.

I really enjoyed my time with Infamous (still playing it actually) but it is a little on the abrupt side.

I wouldn't call it short per se but it ends in an odd fashion. If you have spent your time playing and taking over each district then when it is over there is very little to do which is galling considering what you get at the end.

And if you leave loads of stuff until after the end you breeze through the story very quickly.

I would recommend playing it on expert from the start.

Great game though. It may be pretty but for me the way it feels to play is what makes it stand out.

I would personally give it a 9/10 as I am a huge fan of the series.

100%, locked 60fps and still look great all these years later, same with the expansion, definitely worth a look if people haven't played it yet, not the best games ever made but a good experience, hopefully a new infamous gets released

KwietStorm_BLM123d ago

Never was my favorite infamous, but it was definitely a graphics showcase early on PS4. Still plays well with the unlocked frame rate.

Still remember getting hyped about this game nearing release. Funny because I never even got a PS4. Jumped from PS3 to PC so I never played it ahahaha

OmegaSoldati123d ago

Its a good game. But thats it. Congratulations you made the best choice. I dream to have a great PC one day.

Graphically It's a absolutely stunning game that still holds up today.

Didn't have all that much depth to it forcing you to play though twice for a platinum trophy a good and bad run it was a little disappointing how similar those were Delsin would be like I'm not doing that for you in a cutscene but the cutscene would play out and force you to do it anyway just as you would of in a good run

I did like the story however it got a lot of complaints back in the day people hated playing as Delsin instead of cole despite Coles story being wrapped up.

Overall though the map wasn't overly saturated with useless points of interest there was some collectibles and things to find but nothing compared to a Ubisoft game.

I think it was a good game if a little hollow I've played it through around 4 times now since it's so short.

Also it's DLC was great a full story expansion

I've played 15, and I wouldn't consider any of those underrated TBH. Some of them are pretty high rated.

banger88155d ago

That's amazing, Gamingbolt actually put all 15 games on the same page.

shinoff2183153d ago

I. Not seeing anything on that list underrated. I never played concrete genie, the ASTRO vr,and one other but I forgot the name already. Nothing on there was underrated at all imo.

persona4chie153d ago

There’s only 4 of those games I never played, and no most of those aren’t underrated.
