''You know those games that are so generic, so dull and one-note? Well, my father loves them. I’ve tried many times to introduce quality games to him that go beyond just shooting nameless enemies. I gave him Journey. His verdict? “It’s like a boring dog walk without the dog.” I tried to push forward the likes of Dark Souls, Dishonored, and Catherine, but he merely laughed them out of the park. Every time I try to expand his video game horizons, he ends up narrowing them.''

COD has a long and storied career. Launching as a PC WW2 first-person shooter, Call of Duty has gone through numerous makeovers and been on just about every system. The series has gone through some serious highs and tragic lows. I’ll be looking at each Call of Duty game, the good the bad, and the ugly."
Vanguard better be at the fkn bottom. Can’t believe ppl haven’t eviscerated that game with all its lacking
Will get disagrees but Infinite Warfare campaign was really good. Decent story, set pieces were amazing and if it didn't have the CoD game on it I'm sure people would have been more into it. Advanced Warfare was alright too. Titanfall 2 was just 1000 times better than both but I enjoyed them for their campaigns. I literally barely gaf about the story I'm in it for the set pieces and 5 hours of being stoned watching cool nonsense happen if I'm in the mood to play a CoD campaign. If I'm looking for a deep plot I'm gonna go somewhere else.
Ghosts was the worst story-wise though lol that cliffhanger ending was so bs.
Also MW 2019 was sick and is one of the best CoD games in yeeeears not sure why it's so low on this dude's list. Campaign was great, multiplayer was great and Warzone was fun for a while. Over it now but shrugs.
Beat the Vanguard campaign too but I can't even remember a single thing about it other than that it felt like it was 45 minutes long. Might be the most forgettable thing I've ever played lol just fully erased from my brain
Call of Duty multiplayer ranked from worst to best! 2019 is coming to a close and MP1st ranks the best COD multiplayer games this decade.

Wore implementation I've ever seen,.. guess it just does not work all that great on every engine
Reshade is not raytracing, its a screen space post processing effect. Thats like calling SSAO "global illumination"
Sounds like his dad should be the blogger. Rating games based on his enjoyment, not riding the media wave or which system it is on.
My Dad used to game on the Mega Drive. Sonic, Road Rash, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, that kinda thing.
When we got a PC it was all C&C, Dark Reign, and Total Annihilation. Between that were fixations on some Infinity engine games like Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale. Finally, Dad got hooked on the Cossacks games pre-Cossacks 2.
He was pretty much stuck on Cossacks because...I don't have a clue. He would just never expand beyond that, and was still playing it well into 2007.
Every game that I played on the same rig was "rubbish" and accused of causing Cossacks to crash. haha.
It was only on the off chance I inquired in 2007, "Would you like to have a go of WoW?" I myself had only been playing it for a few months and was 'hooked' myself. He struggled with the controlls, but he definitely got a sense of something new. He got a taste of a NEW game.
Wasn't untill after Lich King, he started playing himself. He now plays it a lot. He's WAY better than I ever managed to get.
I got my Dad hooked on WoW.
:'(
I like CoD series, not all. But very cool military FPS.
Entertainer, and this essence of a video game. Casual Game? Yes, maybe. But their days already little the true hardcore games, DS 1-2, and The Witcher series.
Many of his idiotic opinions though absolutely i don't care, and more million players. That's the point.
New CoD (2014) only on next-gen, it'll be fun, and 100% successful. Let for who he hates it not buy it. That's it.
But the writing of many spiteful men against CoD in all years, already very boring, and uses nothing. Stupid, because it is not noticed that this is irrelevant. Many million players like it CoD series.
I keep saying CoD doesn't just sell to a bunch of people that hate it. People buy the series because they like it, for the most part. If you DON'T like it, the only thing you can do is buy something else. No company has ever listened to anything except sales, and if they did they went broke.
And no, I don't like CoD. I don't even like FPS. So I just buy the stuff I DO like.
