or does this game seem more interesting and scarier than the coming Silent Hill?

Bacon5855d ago (Edited 5855d ago )

The Collective are developing the new Silent Hill and they've never made a good video game. Ever. (Buffy the Vampire Slayer LMAO!!)

The father of Silent Hill is responsible for Siren.

From experience I will say that the Siren series gives a greater sense of helplessness and immersion, while trying to cling for dear life.

One to two hours per episode given that there's going to be an initial 12 episodes. So I'm guessing around 18 hours give or take, that's pretty good for a PSN title.

Meresin5855d ago

I'm sure the price will reflect that. I'd be surprised if they charged less than $10 per episode. Then again, I'd be willing to pay that if the game turned out to be good...And it really does look great.

Lot of horrorish titles coming out this year. Deadspace, Alone in the Dark, Silent Hill, Siren...I'm excited. :)

madness5855d ago

so, u would be cool with a $120 game?

Lord_Ash5855d ago

I don’t think they will charge $10 for every episode, maybe $5, that will keep it in the $60 range, but I doubt it, most big games on the PSN get sold for $40, so maybe $3.5 for every episode.

akaFullMetal5855d ago

looks good and scary, hope to get this soon.

PoSTedUP5855d ago

f*cking right! count this "horror game" lover in!

clintos595855d ago

8 Best Horror Game Remakes

If you're going to relive a nightmare, you might as well do it right.

One thing that's been prevalent now more than ever is video game remakes. Dormant series like Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and System Shock aren't first getting brand-new sequels but remakes of the classic entries. Horror titles are no exception, with the recent Resident Evil, Dead Space, and Silent Hill remakes.

Putting aside whether these remakes are necessary, most of them are excellent. They can expand and enrich the world with added details, improve gameplay mechanics, or put more focus on the story. Standard remakes will count, but story remakes or reimaginings will also be included.

If Castlevania is there as an Horror Game then Demon's Souls should be there as well.

Also, you might want to add Shadow of the Colossus there too. Where you play as a mass murdering genocidal maniac on a warpath.
