Blog reviews here's another review from the same site:
http://n4g.com/news/1472562...

Like the "user reviews" on metacritic, I need to know their background because the reviews don't sound like they have much experience with fps, even mentions design not better than BF or COD, I disagree especially if she's talking about core gameplay, but hey its all opinions just can't take her seriously if she thinks it's a hard game.

phantomera3724d ago (Edited 3724d ago )

that review was basically all --> "its too hard", " i died allot"

I rarely play multiplayer in any game on any platform (give me single player any day) but even I'm having fun with Titanfall.

Sure, I die a lot and, were it not for the grunts I probably wouldn't get many (any?) kills at all, but I'm having fun.

The gameplay is fast, smooth and action-packed; it just "feels good" to me. Titanfall is quite the adrenaline rush, I must admit.

I have a friend who is pretty bad at fps. And he comes in middle of the pack and occasionally first especially on hardpoint.

You get alot of points just holding hard points!!!

Just finished the campaign mp. Was ok...nothing mind blowing.

Overall I'm having fun..And that is what matters most me.

Having fun with it on PC,was able to have it maxed out on everything with 1080p and just a tiny frame drops in heavy occasions.

Fun game but it lacks structure and balance IMO...
All the time when playing I was like "this would have been much cooler if it had a story or single player".

Yes there is a story, but I just didn't get attached to it AT ALL,it's like they didn't even bother, the whole focus was on the MP(which is decent and fun tbh).

Not the OMG WOW THIS IS AMAZING kind of game I was hoping for,but it's not bad either, just don't get your hopes up too much.

All in all,I'm satisfied but eager for more, would like them to try harder with the DLC and the sequel to this game.

well this review does not count

I have no interest in Titanfall as I dont play online or have an Xbone, but I'm still not falling for this clickbait crap. The game has been getting overwhelmingly great scores, and if it is your type of game it looks like its the MP shooter to beat for now.

PS
I've always said from the start the gameplay mechanics look really fun. I wish they had incorporated them into a Single Player game. Maybe MS should make a Gunvalkyrie sequel.

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."

Physical media. Unfortunately the way games are going these days game servers will eventually be shut down and you can stare at the menu and wish you could play the game again.

littletad902d ago

This is why reading is so important. Nothing to do with digital or physical media. The game, which is online only, is being delisted because of DDOS and other hacker attacks. The case got so bad that only six players in the world log on. For PC. Rather than fix it, they continued to sell the game, broken as it is, and only now just decided to call it quits. But please, go on thinking what you will.

Ethereal900d ago

I'm aware of the DDOS attacks and that this case is not typical. This game would eventually have it's servers shutdown regardless of the current situation so that is a moot point. My comment was in a general sense and that there are instances in which games can be preserved physically when official support ends.

Let's recap your first sentence. I said, "the way GAMES are going these days" indicating a broader stroke than just this game. I agree, reading IS important. I was simply stating the obvious downsides of the digital marketplaces and online only trends in games these days. I could even make the argument that the online only offering which has allowed hacker manipulation has impacted the preservation of this great game. My comment is valid in the general sense and thank you for your permission to continue to think what I will.
