not only for fans of the series!

FragMnTagM3713d ago

Hell yeah. If you don't play this game, fan or not, you are missing out.

This game is really fun...not too challenging, but that's not really the point. This game's biggest flaw is really just WHEN it came out...I feel like it's suffering a bit because it came out so close to so many other games I want to play.

CynicalKelly3714d ago

This game is one of the best games I have ever played. It's fantastic for fans of South Park and RPG guys. It beats most recent JRPGs hands down too which is kinda shocking.

i agree. 10/10 for me, the difficulty being too easy as its only flaw.

and the abortion scenes. dont bother me or nothing but both were buggy as shit. i seen the snuke blow up 20 times

Irishguy953714d ago

...hmm I didn't fail the abortion scenes at all

I'm annoyed about the censorship but I will pick this up sometime.

Clown_Syndr0me3714d ago

The censorship didnt ruin it at all for me, infact the way it was done made me laugh.
I dont feel that I missed anything by not being able to see certain characters anal probed...
People that are annoyed by not seeing this might be a little odd..

Funniest game in all of history. I still can't believe they got away with an M rating in the states.

FragMnTagM3713d ago

I think there are just that many fans of South Park by now, coupled with the fact that it is animated instead of portraying realistic characters allows them to get away with a little more.

We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.

They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.

Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.

anast45d ago

That's one reason to be hopeful, but Ubi is trending down too.

Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.

The 7 Best South Park Games

The South Park series has somehow managed to stay relevant for over 25 years, but which are the best games based on the TV show?

cammers1995152d ago (Edited 152d ago )

The only two worth playing are Stick of truth and fractured but whole. The rest were garbage except snow day which I can't say anything about yet. But with that said, unlike stick and fractured which debuted as AAA full priced titles by ubisoft, snow day is a new developer and publisher and has a budget price at only $30 soooo

I see Deadpool made the list. Also saw it in stock at the local game store. Second hand. Might finally pick up a copy.
