Via Jolt: "The success of the two Lego Star Wars instalments has been well deserved, taking a classic and established franchise and promptly turning it on its head. It would be wrong to assume that the Star Wars license was the only reason for its success, as its blend of simple yet entertaining gameplay alongside its jauntily friendly presentation and a splendid co-op mode proved to be a potent antidote for all those awfully stale tie-ins that had come before it. Taking another well established LucasArts franchise and giving it the same treatment can only be a recipe for success."
Sure, they may be made for a child audience, but TT Games' Lego games are still incredibly fun for any age! Here's our ranking of the very best.
I dislike the LEGO games after the first one I played. They are just cut and paste with a new skin- My son liked them so we had a few over the years .Star Wars, Lord of the Rings , Batman but after the first it just felt like an extension of the first game on an endless loop
They are ok games, but every single one of them are basically the same. I enjoyed Lego Star Wars 1 and 2 and then the complete collection, but every other one after that has just been the same thing and it got a little dull.
had a lot more fun with Lego Marvel Superheroes than any other lego game.
Might be partly due to the fact there wasn't a lot else to play on my new PS4 when it came out
Carlos writes "Ah, Indi, you make your return, and whilst many people are likely to complain at the newest addition to the Backwards Compatible library - due mainly to the fact it isn’t one of the last remaining Call of Duty titles to arrive via the program - there will certainly be many others who will be excited by the addition."
Star Wars video games are great, but they aren’t the only place that your favorite Star Wars characters show up! You might be surprised to find out that you can play as Yoda, Darth Maul, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Jango Fett in other video games.
I really liked using Vader and Starkiller in Soulcaliber. A full-blown Star Wars fighting game could potentially be fantastic.
Secret Weapons over Normandy was new to me. That game must also be so old that it could run on a smart phone
Man I love Darth maul in Tony hawk 3!! And Man do I miss good Tony hawk games they should just remake one two and 3 all in one deal I would buy it in a heart beat.
I've totally never thought of this game in the context of lots and lots of Lego Nazi's. That will be fun.
