Three more reviews all above 9. This game is just sailing away.

Watching the Xbox One Twitch Live Stream now.

Wizard_King3720d ago (Edited 3720d ago )

792p (it's 2014 you know)

Frame rate issues on the consoles versions

High levels of screen tearing and no signs of any AA

limited 6v6

replaces kill steaks with robots

AI everywhere

Has "parkour"

Limited game modes

I can't really see anything revolutionary or even next gen about this game, point being it is available for current "previous" gen.

It feels like COD, it plays like COD, the shooting is like COD, the graphics are less than COD.

I can have fun with this game for a while but this perfect scores and 9/10 crap is getting to be a joke.

I want the flood of paid reviews to pass so we can get the post hype factual reviews coming through. This game is not perfect, it does have flaws and downsides, it does not warrant 10/10 and 9/10 across the board, it is not perfect and defiantly not next generation.

PS. not a PS fan either so don't go there

A quick comparison to a Unreal Tournament 2004 reveals that UT2004 is a far superior game in every way including resolution.

You care far too much about a game you have no interest in. Seriously, give it a rest.

Wizard_King3720d ago (Edited 3720d ago )

@Dewitt

Believe it or not I own a copy on PC have been in since the BETA, so I do have an interest in the game.

I simply see through the "paid for" reviews that you are all clinging to, I have seen and played the XB1 version as well. It simply isn't a 9/10 or 10/10 game with the current issues I have stated above. A game needs to be perfect for a perfect score and even with out all the issues I have stated above TF is still not a perfect game PERIOD.

ANY OTHER CREDIBLE REVIEWER would look at these things and subtract scores as needed but it seems that the reviewers are all in the collecting gifts mode and issue perfect score hand over fist.

I might start a gaming website and see if I can get some free stuff from Respawn and MS for a 10/10 review to.

Maybe try to counter my points instead of assuming things that you don't know. It makes you look stupid.

Whatever Wizard, enjoy your gaming PC while XB1 gamers will enjoy their Titanfall regardless of what your opinion is.

lol, Wizard Kings post history reads like the the fanboy bible. I mean guy hasn't contributed one insightful unbiased comment, even normal ps fans have to cringe reading the stuff he posts. Damm I don't know whether to laugh at his trolling or feel sorry for him if he truly believes half of the garbage he spits out.

So jelly.

Amazing the amount of 9s this game is getting. Have you notice that most of the PS fan---- comments are in the 8s reviews of the game from sites I didn't know existed before and are avoiding these 9s reviews like they don't exist? LOL, I find that amusing and sad at the same time.

Alan_Shore3720d ago

Even though 8 is still a good number for review's lol. I think it's fair to say by now this game is gonna be big.

Naga3720d ago

Right now, it's sitting at an 87 on Metacritic, which places it under only Rayman Legends, Flower, and Fifa 14 on the next-gen gaming totem pole. Pretty impressive.

christocolus3720d ago

Lol..i mentioned something similar in one of my previous comments.

Gamer-403720d ago

Another great review. Titanfall it is a new FPS Titan.

No1up3720d ago

Gamer-403720d ago (Edited 3720d ago )

Although the late 2000s Turok wasn't my favorite, I would love a new entry. Open world survival with shotguns and dinosaurs. Not sure how we'd get the fusion cannon, but that would be pretty sweet too.

MadLad615d ago

Lol

All of these games are pretty much universally praised. Outside of Timeshift I literally own all of these.

Venoxn4g615d ago (Edited 615d ago )

XIII, The Darkness 2, Far Cry: Blood Dragon, Timesplitters: future perfect, Bulletstorm are awesome games

I played them all, they are all good in their own way
I used to be obsessed with FPS games

An ode to Titanfall: The last twitch shooter I'll probably ever enjoy

Windows Central: "Titanfall 1 is being sunset, taken off storefronts by EA. While the servers remain live for now, one has to wonder just how much time it has left. I look back and pay tribute to the last "twitch"-styled shooter I ever truly loved."

Physical media. Unfortunately the way games are going these days game servers will eventually be shut down and you can stare at the menu and wish you could play the game again.

littletad896d ago

This is why reading is so important. Nothing to do with digital or physical media. The game, which is online only, is being delisted because of DDOS and other hacker attacks. The case got so bad that only six players in the world log on. For PC. Rather than fix it, they continued to sell the game, broken as it is, and only now just decided to call it quits. But please, go on thinking what you will.

Ethereal894d ago

I'm aware of the DDOS attacks and that this case is not typical. This game would eventually have it's servers shutdown regardless of the current situation so that is a moot point. My comment was in a general sense and that there are instances in which games can be preserved physically when official support ends.

Let's recap your first sentence. I said, "the way GAMES are going these days" indicating a broader stroke than just this game. I agree, reading IS important. I was simply stating the obvious downsides of the digital marketplaces and online only trends in games these days. I could even make the argument that the online only offering which has allowed hacker manipulation has impacted the preservation of this great game. My comment is valid in the general sense and thank you for your permission to continue to think what I will.
