Nintendo is launching a 200 million dollar adverising campaign to combat Sony and Microsoft over the next 12 months, making this Nintendo's largest advertising campaign ever. Eighty percent of the advertising will be aimed at adults in an effort to expand the market and perhaps shed some of the "kiddie" stereotype Nintendo has been saddled with for the past decade. TV commercials for the Wii should start showing up sometime this week.
