I think I get why DS2 is skipping the PC for the time being. Cuz the devs is just gonna build a much GRAPHICALLY superior PC version later, than just port it down to the PS4/XB1.

Seems to make much sense this way from a dev standpoint being that the now-gen consoles are semi-costumed PC's technically.

No difference.As for PC version........no thanks, graphics cannot make up for hackers and glitchers, which completely ruin the online experience in Dark Souls, not to mention the terrible controls.....I have a gaming rig, but Dark Souls is meant to be played on consoles....

I love hard, but i hate unfair........the game and pvp is challenging enough without some hacker douchebag with infinite health and other hacks invading me........i want to play the game as it's meant to be played.......I'm pretty sure the developers don't want hacking either, but they just can't stop it entirely. I'm good with mods, they are fun, but not hacking.

How considerable is the frame rate difference between versions? Does the frame rate dips below 30fps in ps3?

I would like pc version but do not want to wait until end of April, so ps3 version it is.

Too bad we cant just get a port to next gen systems even if it looked like last gen, I much prefer dualshock 4 (wireless)

Does it really matter if it's wireless or not? The DS4 should work with DkS2 as it does with the first so just plug in and play.

I cant speak for him, but a wired connection becomes quite a hassle, as I sit 10-15 feet away from the system, and the longest micro cable I have is 4-5 feet...I can get cables or adapters to make it happen (as a matter of fact, I have) but then I have to get out a long cable and drape it across my living room...it works but still a lot of extra steps and hassle

I'm getting two Dark Souls II collectors edition on PS3, one to open one to keep sealed away along with two CE Strategy Guides both sealed until I beat it twice, then open the one CE guide to get all weapons and armor and appretiate the amazing artwork; also getting the day one Black Armor Edition on the 360 as well to play with a few friends on XBL. Wish we could do some jolly cooperation on both PSN and XBL cross-platform.

I really hope Dark Souls II also comes out on PS4! I'm really hoping that Fromsoftware is listening and realizes that it would be a missed opportunity if they don't launch on PS4 and XBO as well, just look at Tomb Raider that did much better than expected. I would buy it a fourth time if they did, along with the 2 PS3 CE and 360 Black Armor Edition I'm picking up.

I'm keeping one CE sealed with a CE guide sealed as well, I'm opening one of my PS3 CE and the regular 360 that's a free upgrade metal tin case. Why doesn't it make sense?

Thanks! I absolutely do this to support the developer and enjoy the collection. We as gamers need to support games that are awesome, if you can do it do it! I know times are tough for some but if people can scrounge up enough to buy a system, they could buy a game new. Give yourself a pat on the back as well...

I think the "Souls" series of games are one of few big, non-Wii games where graphics are genuinely second to gameplay.

Dark Souls is about timing, frustration, and a feeling of unbeatable reward. Not pretty tings.

I'm just gonna wait for the pc version this time around. Got DS1 on ps3 first and then got the pc version much later, but there's not much longer to wait for DS2. Playing without the framerate issues was a joy with DS1, and playing in 60 fps in DS2 will be even more of a joy.
