PSX Extreme writes: "Among upcoming shooters such as Resistance 2, Gears of War 2, and Killzone 2, there lies a new intellectual property, and it's Ubisoft's Haze. Haze has managed to garner a fair share of its own attention, seeing as how the developers behind it have brought us FPS games such as TimeSplitters and GoldenEye. The Free Radical game has often undergone questioning of when it'd finally be released, and while the game is still about a week off, we've been given a demo to play and here's what we think.
The playthrough is fairly brief, about 15 minutes, if you include the tutorial pauses, and 10 if you don't. The one aspect that differentiates Haze from other first person shooters is nectar injection. Characters inject nectar into themselves which heightens a variety of their abilities. The most notable change is the ability to detect enemies, as the nectar injection allows you to see an enemy's body heat - this'll help you spot threats from a distance."
Alex S. from Link-Cable writes: "When shopping for new video games you can often trust the name publisher or developer on the box to be an indication of the quality of the game. Names like Nintendo, Square Enix, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Capcom, Xbox Game Studios and Sega are world famous because they helped shape the industry by releasing some of the most defining video games of all time. Though sometimes even these great gaming houses stumble and put out a stinker."
Splatterhouse remake . Loved the og’s at the arcade growing up . Hell the best thing about the remake was the og,s were included . And left alive by Square . That game had so much potential , but the gameplay was worse horrendous .
I'm pretty much certain that any Sonic game that comes out will be terrible, I've not enjoyed one since the original side-scrolling days of the MegaDrive.
Guns, drugs, and unnecessary war. Fun for the whole family.
http://www.gamereactor.se/r... Url from a swedish gamemag site, gamereactor. Two reviewers gave it 5/10 and 6/10, they basically said it sucked, especially when it comes to graphics. guess its not that much prettier than the demo.
thought it was a decent game, graphics were good, Game play better then good. However my only real problem was aiming, prefer the COD style. First day buy not really sure
HAZE is good and all but there was some thing not right with it and the graphics need to be better its 2008 not 2006.
I was once very hard on this game for the unjustified delays, but I'm now looking forward to Haze and have it pre-ordered. Free Radical better come through for me, the demo was decent. I think we all got way to used to COD4 and Halo 3 and also have forgot that a demo doesnt give away the result of an entire game.
Haze looks like you generic shooter, but might have some interesting aspects, while graphics look "oh-humm". Where are are the different types of games promised for the PS3 instead of shooters. Looks like the PS3 is the new "Shooter" console on the market.
MGS, SOCOM, Resistance, Haze, Killzone..... All in the Shooter category and all the "most looked forward" to this year or soon after. Just not that much in variety.
