OnlySP: One of the biggest months for gaming, March is so chock full of hefty single player releases and our Most Anticipated of 2014 that we’ve had to extend the usual 3 single player games list to 5. So sit back, relax and prepare yourself for 5 exciting singleplayer games for March:
Over the last 25 years, there has been a fair few South Park games, and here GameSpew has ranked them all from best to worst.
We are going to see a lot of crap South Park products since they sold out to paramount years ago. It's their IP they can sell out, of course; it just means the quality of their show has tanked and other products as well. Nevertheless, they put on excellent musicals, but those haven't been sold to a mega corporation.
They said awhile ago that Ubisoft holds contract rights to the main flagship South Park games. So like stick, fractured and phone destroyer.
Snow Day was handled by THQ and Question and is a random spinoff. Hopefully Ubisoft is cooking something.
Loved the RPGs but never played the others. Have to track them down. Still not sure about Snow Day though.
Dark Souls 2 remains a divisive entry in the landmark RPG franchise, but Hidetaka Miyazaki believes it led to the success of Elden Ring.
DS2 was fine. While there was a bit of recycling assets or ideas for bosses, it was a bigger more open Dark Souls. The Fume knight boss is one of the hardest bosses in the series until Sekiro and Elden Ring were released.
The problem with Dark Souls 2 was the same problem when a different director takes over for a sequel to an outstanding movie. It typically (there are exceptions) doesn’t have the feel and vision of the previous movie.
I wouldn’t say Dark Souls 2 is terrible. Had Dark Souls 1 never been a thing and we got this, I think it would have been praised more. The problem is it didn’t have the Miyazaki touch to it and felt pretty derivative. The soundtrack is a banger though.
And it will happen in the future when he doesn’t touch them as he is planning on.
I like DS 2, might even be my favorite of the 3. But it's a hard sell, there's so many obscure things you need to do to make it an enjoyable experience. So always find it hard to recommend, but it is worth the trouble.

Infamous is one of the most underrated franchises of the last generation, imo. I hope the high PS4 sales lead to Second Son getting the sales, fanbase and recognition the series deserves.
i really hope the story of infamous second son is good. Like in the beginning how he get hes Powers etc

It's funny, because those are the four games I'm getting this month. (Not getting Ninja Gaiden).

Not finished Demon's Souls, let alone Dark Souls, so DS2 can wait.
