Ubisoft has released some more images from its futuristic flying game Tom Clancy's HAWX. Take to the skies in the most modern of fighter jets and prove you've got what it takes to be Ace.
Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. was a series that showed promise, but after 2010's Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. 2, all we have is backwards compatibility.
I remember buying Hawx2 back on PS3 after Microsoft bought exclusivity of Ace Combat6.
So to fill that dog fighting space I bought Hawx2, a very basic game that only had a gimmick of evasion that was overused if I remember correctly. I never even finished the game and still own it and my super slim ps3 so who knows I might pop it in one day and see if I can feel the need, I he need for speed.

As much as i love Tom Clancy's games. They are slowly dieing to me and becoming to arcady. Now one thing i take very seriously is Flight Sims. So far the only one to get it halfway right on a console is Over G. Ace Combat6 sucked. It may have looked good, but it sucked. If this game even has a hint of arcade feel its nothing more than a rent if that!
What i would like to see is the old school PC combat flight sim games with fully open worlds. Not single map missions, but a one world where you can fly to combat or skip right to. Airfields are a must for take offs and landings after every mission. Sure you can skip if wanted or you can fly it out to the end. Im afraid this aint even close on all accounts. I will keep a eye on this game, but more of a rental. Until they get out of the console arcade bs. Flight games may only be worth a buy on PC forever. Well unless Over G2 comes out anyways!
