You'd be surprised how much many journalists follow neogaf new thread on twitter. Neogaf is a very popular gaming forum and it's the go-to gaming forum to lurk for news and rumours and other niceties.

Seeing as its SP only there was no excuse for not having a decent campaign.

Wish they made it MP though, sank so many hours into Enemy Territory that anything even remotely similar would have made me happy.

Very strange that a game franchise that is renown for multiplayer is single player only. I wonder why unless Bethesda thought there might be too much overlap with the new Doom game.

Not really.

I know everyone like's a good lengthy campaign but in shooting games 8-10 hours should be standard. Unless it's a game like Resistance or some other with a huge variety of gameplay. Otherwise it just gets stale quick.

Never knew the game was "hardwired" to run 60FPS. Makes me wonder how that will affect performance if at all. RAGE was relatively smooth on both the 360 and PS3 after that hefty install.

The last Wolfenstein game i played was RTCW on PC a little while after i got into PC gaming, that game was great. Also looking forward to Doom, hoping they don't screw it up and make it great like the originals, add great online and 4 player co-op = awesomeness.

When I first saw this game at E3, I thought it looked incredibly dull (It probably didn't help that the presenter sounded bored as hell). However, with the recent "Grindhouse-esque" trailer and new gameplay footage, the title looks MUCH more promising.

Well, it should be 1080/60 - not exactly a graphically intensive game.. after watching those 3 trailers, this game definitely has a last-gen vibe to it.

Still, it is only SP and that's rather unusual for a FPS in this day and age.

Seems legit based on the dev's history. A lot of ex The Darkness dev's. The Darkness was pretty long too :)

It's uses id Tech 5 so it will most likely run at 60fps across the board with the possibility of using a dynamic framebuffer to maintain 60fps as rage used on consoles last gen. Just hope they have fixed the mega texture pop in, that was nasty.
