Routine Developer Considering PS4 Port

Lunar Software, the developer of upcoming sci-fi horror game Routine, says that it is considering working on a console port once the PC version is completed.

"If we did do a console version it would be PS4-only," says Lunar's Jemma Hughes, speaking directly to IGN. "From a technical standpoint it would be far easier for us to port over as there would be much less need for optimisation"

Well you guys have a bunch of sup-par indi games so we thought we'd share something good with you. ;)

izumo_lee3723d ago

You do know that those 'sub par' indie games are also on the PC right? In fact these 'sub par' indie games originated on it.

I can smell the ocean ...

Cerny did't lie, this can turn like PS2 times, SONY doesn't pay for exclusives but gave them effectiv HW with PS2 and now PS4, that and larger installbase is the killer combination for a successful platform

Its always good to see alot of games on a system. Outlast is a scary ass game & I cant believe it was free. Definitely good to see more horror games. I like this genre.

Studio-YaMi3723d ago

Technically it wasn't free, non ps+ members had to pay $9.99 to get it,but I see your point.

Hopefully we'll see so many other PC indie games on the PS4.

ltachiUchiha3723d ago

I agree but being a free download for ps plus members this game is a steal. Outlast is definitely worth the purchase even if u aint a ps plus member.

HarryMasonHerpderp3723d ago

As soon as I heard about this game I wanted it on the PS4. Really happy it's being considered! Had a great time with Outlast.

Iltapalanyymi3723d ago

PLS! it would be great on ps4! im hyped about this gaem anyway and will get it to PC regardless of what happens but i really hope this makes its way to ps4 too!

Sarobi3723d ago

This is my first time hearing about this game, and so far it looks really neat. Hopefully they decide to port it over.
