Invitation to Preview the Next Xbox One Update

Xbox wire says "Beginning today, Xbox is inviting select Xbox Live members to preview new features coming to Xbox One in a March system update and future system updates as they become available, asking them to provide valuable feedback before the updates are implemented worldwide. Selected participants will receive an Xbox Live message with a token to register. The next system update will begin rolling out next week to those who will preview the new features. Once registered, participants will be able to test the early features included in the update and provide feedback on a private forum and can opt out of future waves."

I think he means Twitch in-game streaming. On a side note, is the X1 Twitch app horrifyingly bad for anybody else? I have a decent connection, and the thing is forever changing stream quality and rebuffering the same stuff, giving me a broken record effect. I don't have problems with any other streaming apps.

Yeah, I have been had a gold membership since Xbox Live launched and have never been selected for Beta updates. I would love to get them though and provide feedback. Too bad you can't volunteer.

So in the past on dashboard updates you had to register up with the Microsoft Connect program which basically is a program designed for getting beta users for Any and all kinds of MS product. This however sounds like they may just be pushing out to X1 users rather than asking us to register at the site.

The Microsoft connect thing for beta's hasn't been used in awhile (I know , I've been in all of them including the kinect beta). Now they just email you a redeem code and you download a app on your console and the app signs you up for the beta. Doesn't matter to me anymore since I went with a ps4 this generation. I hope the people who get the beta has fun and enjoys the new features. I wish Sony did something like this.

Hopefully my participation in X360 dashboard betas will assist in the [assumed] random selection. :D

Won't be a huge miss if not though. The amount of time I spend on the "dashboard" is slim to none.

Its only fixing the mistakes. Missing features, which were on the 360. Same as last update. This time the partysystem is fixed. Its one thing it don`t liked. On the ps4 you have a decent party system with voice messaging, sending screenshots and the groupfunction. You can group with people, name the threads and you have a forum. Friends adding friends you do not knew. You meet new people discuss news, games and everything else. It`s not perfect but this i call innovative. It`s all in the system integrated. For me with the Streams, the facebookstyle it`s better xbox live ever was. The lies in the community and the cance to connect.

ps4s UI is pretty good right now but i hope they could find new ways to improve some of its features, i have a feeling they will leave us in the dark with that one lol we need things like better chat volume & online status notification maybe a better bio section... but like usual ms doing a great job trying to improve its features
