GameZone: Composed of gameplay elements parallel to action-RPGs, tower defense, and MOBAs, Nekro is a mixed and heavily stylized bag that, even in early Beta, stands out from the crowd. Admittedly, I’d be worried if a tattooed witch doctor leading an army of bulbous, voracious flesh-monsters didn’t stand out from the crowd—because what the hell does that make the crowd—but the result is impressive nonetheless.
If you were a backer or fan of the early access kickstarted game Nekro, it appears that the game is no longer being developed.
In this review, Michael gives Steam users a preview of Nekro on Early Access, a real time strategy game that could have easily been a mod for Warcraft 3. - "the game has such a simplistic feel in terms of actually playing the game, that I feel like it could almost be considered a Warcraft 3 mod on its own rather than it having become a real game. Not to say that it was a mod, but given the playstyle, and the map functionality, it seems almost like it should have been."
