Hardcore Gamer: While Kojima and co. can’t seem to get their hands off Metal Gear Solid, we hope that this debate will encourage you to revisit, if not discover, this special series. Zone of the Enders 3 may be light years away from fruition, but these two games still have an important place in the current gaming landscape. Whether you hunt down the PlayStation 2 originals or pick up the convenient HD Collection, you’ll certainly find yourself experiencing two very polarizing games.
Hideo Kojima is widely known as a video games auteur, but what are his best games outside the Metal Gear franchise?
New trademark filings have been registered in Europe and Japan. Will Konami make a series announcement at Tokyo Game Show 2020?
Can someone just tell me this means nothing and that companies do this all time so that I can not have any hope. Thank you.
Screen Rant Writes: After the success of Death Stranding Kojima should return to a genre he helped make a huge impact on, mecha.
I wouldn't mind a mech game but I'm hoping for a full on horror game from Kojima. I wanna see some insane monster designs
I really liked Kojima's original Metal Gear Solid Rising (not MGR:Revengeance) concept. He was not directly involved coz he was busy finishing Peace Walker but the end product didn't pan out. Since we'll be 2 generations ahead by this year, Kojima can try it out again.
the story in part one was better, and so was the traveling
The Metal Gear Sold demo in 1 was better.
The 2nd Runner by far. Don't get me wrong, ZOE 1 was great, especially since it was one of those games that came out early on in the PS2's life cycle and yes, of course, the MGS2 demo that came with it. It had... interesting mech concepts and designs(cock-pits) and the ability to travel to each Zone helping out any remainder survivors, especially flying over the whole colony. It really looked awesome. But, with the 2nd Runner, it was literally like going from 0 to 60. You felt the power and speed of Jehuty and its capabilities, especially with Anubis. Even better weapons like the Vector Cannon. The cel shading over the previous game, gave it a more unique look. Way more replayability by being able to choose different Jehuty frames. It was one of those games where it was such a massive improvement. And you gotta love Beyond the Bounds intro. This series is like Omega Boost(PS1 game similar to ZOE) on the PS2.
I just hope Kojima and Konami can get ZOE 3 going though after the bad news that came out last year regarding its development.
I still remember when I originally got ZOE for the MGS2 Demo and ZOE actually turned out to be a good game..
good ol' days. games/magazines had demos with them
Uhh? Anubis, nuff said bro lol
