Japanese PS3 Mainichi Issho: Official YouTube Support

Japanese only PS3 free-download game Mainichi Issho, can now upload in-game captured videos to YouTube directly from within the game. According to SCE Japan, this will be the first time in history for a home console to correspond with YouTube officially.

You can record videos during the game by choosing "Video Camera" under the "My Items" option in the main menu. The maximum length for each captured video will be 10 minutes; after recording you can have the option of upload the video directly to YouTube or save it to the PS3 Cross Media Bar. Users will need to set up their own YouTube account for this. As for "Toro-Station", users have the option of recording the news casts, but will not be able to upload them to YouTube.

You will also be able to add title and comments for the video from within the game before uploading.

For the May 2008 update of the game, Main Menu will be improved, "News Ranking History" and "Special Game Reports" sections will also be added to Toro-Station. Total of 67 new items will be added to "Mini Games" and "Items".
