Kenneth Melville, the developer behind several well-received 80s and 90s full motion video games including It Came from the Desert and Sewer Shark passed away on Saturday, Feb. 1 at the age of 65.
"I just found out that Josue Candela is making a full-blown fan-made remake of Cinemaware's classic action-adventure game "It Came From The Desert". So here's what's known about the project so far." - Robin Ek, TGG.
Carl Williams writes, "If you are a retro gaming fan then you know the name Cinemaware quite well. If you don’t know that name then here is a chance to garb some of the best “ahead of their time” games released in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. Seriously, this is an amazing collection of great games for everyone to own. Some of these games are very prominent on “abandonware” or illegal ROM download sites- here is your chance to own legal copies instead. What is cool about this bundle is that it includes both the Amiga and MS-DOS versions, when available."
Cinemaware is proud to announce that it has entered partnership with Roger! Pictures for the development of a motion picture of It Came From the Desert!
