Paul spent some time in “The Elder Scrolls Online” media beta last weekend. He hopes you didn’t make plans this April.
Zenimax Online Studios, the developer behind The Elder Scrolls Online, is currently working on a brand new engine for a multiplatform title.
"It’s really special to be at the ten year anniversary."
Wccftech checked out the new Scribing system coming to Elder Scrolls Online with Gold Road and interviewed Creative Director Rich Lambert.
Heck of a money suck, more like.
I HATE F2P games and i espically HATE F2P MMOs. Great MMOs got ruined and change to pay to win, so I am in favour of monthly fee MMO (Like FFXIV)
However after trying TESO Beta, It doesn't feel like an MMO. Its TES with a co op mod which is avaliable on other TES. Its not worth the monthly fee in my opinion.
Check out Angry Joe's early impressions (Levels 1-10) posted yesterday. They allow him to break NDA:

This is how I felt that last beta.
So you get to buy the game, pay a monthly subscription and then you even have to buy a special edition of the retail copy to actually unlock the full game.
All right, so, now that NDA has partially lifeted and people are allowed to talk about the game, people can no longer claim the majority enjoyed the game but just can't talk about it(looking at you 'thekhurg'). This is turning out to be the sub-par experience I thought it since I get an early viewing, and that I have been calling it since getting time with the beta myself.
It is a watered down version of what today's ES game is and all they are doing is milking the hardcore fanbase before this goes f2p. I give it a year or so before that happens.
Don't care about the monthly fee as long as it is good. All of the top 5 all time MMO of all time have monthly fees in their time while F2P games barely register.
Everquest
Ultima Online
WoW
EVE
Asheron Call
There are plent of good F2P games out there sure. But none of them can break into this list of giants.
