EA has explained the reasons behind its decision not to release the upcoming FIFA World Cup game on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, saying that it wants to "make the best game we can for our largest audience, which is still on 360 & PS3."
Licensed games have a habit of being average, forgettable titles curtailed by the expense of their origins. World Cup and UEFA titles are no different with the majority sinking into the oblivion of the middle-ground. There are some exceptions though - here are the very best and very worst World Cup video games.

Dominates their own (last months) gold deals. These games are old and can be found cheaper elsewhere. (For physical copies)
The Naval Strike maps are well worth picking up and Second Assault. Wouldn't bother with the World Cup game.

Because most probably it will be an expansion to Fifa 2014 just like Fifa 2012 had the Euro expansion..
maybe it will be downloadable content on the PS4 and X1

They wouldn't make that much money so why bother. It's EA, guys.
Gutted by this decision as I held off from buying fifa 14 for ps4, looks like I am heading down to my local game store tomorrow
