Yes, I am a PS3 fan.... for reasons like looking at this lackluster list of games. But, I do have a 360 and have much longer than my PS3.

These games just don't look good.

Who knows maybe Banjo will be more than Microsoft trying to make something to counter LittleBigPlanet.

Xbox 360 is seriously looking like a DUD.

Here's 2008's PS3 exclusives:

GT5 Prologue, Singstar Vol. 1, Resistance 2, Little Big Planet, MotorStorm 2, Metal Gear Solid, SOCOM: Confrontation, The Agency, Haze, Siren, Valkyria Chronicles

I did not even count: Infamous, Eight Days, Tekken 6, White Knight Chronicles, Singstar Vol. 2, which might come this year, nor Haze which might just remain exclusive. Nor Metal Gear Online which is part of MGS4.

On 360 there is:

Too Human, Banjo Kazooie, Ninja Gaiden, Viva Piñata 3, Fable 2, Halo Wars, Gears of War, GTA IV exclusive content, Tales of Vesperia and... Penny Arcade Adventures! (lol)

I'm counting Ninja Gaiden despite the fact that it might be Timed exclusive unless Tecmo wants to waste the fine job they did with the Ninja Gaiden Sigma Engine. I'm also counting GTAIV exclusive content as a game despite the fact that we really don't know anything, and in the end it's just an expansion.

I'm also not counting Arcade games nor Multiplatform games nor anything not yet announced at E3 from either Sony or Microsoft.

It's 10 games on 360 versus 11 on PS3, despite the fact that I eliminated potential 2008 games for PS3, and added potentially non-exclusive games or put exclusive content for 360 in good light.

In 2009, things look worse for 360. Assuming all these games are delayed to 2009 (Infamous, Eight Days, Tekken 6, White Knight Chronicles, Singstar Vol. 2), 2009 will be too cruel for 360, because Afrika, War Devil, FFXIII, Eyedentify, Heavy Rain, FFVersusXIII, Killzone 2, GT5 and maybe even God of War 3 and the Getaway 3 will come out; Heavenly Sword 2, Jak and Daxter, and Uncharted 2 are also possibilites. I'm also assuming L.A. Noire might be multiplatform.

What will Xbox 360 have? Alan Wake, Halo Chronicles, Halo 4, Killer Instinct 3, Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, Cry on and? More Namco second or third tier timed exclusives? Halo 4 and KI3 haven't even been announced (and who knows if it'll happen), and Bioshock 2 and Mass Effect 2 are likely to end Multiplatform. Microsoft's first and second party studios have almost disappeared, so what's next?

My bet is that Microsoft just wants to sail it slowly from now on and hit profit so they can reboot the Xbox business in 2012 with a not so powerful Xbox 720 (for the time) in order to mimic the success of the Wii.

BTW, did you see the press that is attending? Mostly garbage blogs like "Xbox 360 fanboy" which has some of the worst fanboys in the press like "Ken Weeks", "joystiq" which had former Xbox intern "Vladimir Cole", and "kotaku" which speaks for itself.

Both machines have lots of games but it appears that PS3 will get more exclusives, even when trying to put the odds against it and 360 in a good light, especially more high profile exclusives. Reminded me of one of the characters in tekken 5 who grabs u on the floor and punches u like that. I am glad they added that as another way of killing an enemy because I loved how uncharted drakes fortune had so many different ways u can kill the enemy, so this should be pretty awesome. Cant wait to see some more footage of the gameplay for gears 2.

The visuals are not that good, but then again, this game is supposed to have great gameplay.

The characters looked pretty rigid...From the other footage I seen at gametrailers, it looks to be very linear as well.

I not buying this...But then again I hate Hack n' Slashers and button mashers...Thats why I'm not so excited for NG2

I tell the truth how it is, if i had a 360 again, these games minus about 1-2 would impress me,the xbox360 is geared to hardcore gamers like MS stated many times before, and I know they are trying to cater to the casual gaming market but, those 2 games banjo and viva are pretty much little kids game, and Gears of 2 is ok along with fable, I'd rather look more into fable than gears of war 2, I hope MS has some big things to offer at E3 because if this is all they have to offer for now and till E3, then its not a good year, but then again the only thing that would make MS's line up look good is mostly 3rd party games which are still multiplatform such as Fallout 3 and Borderland.

I cant wait to get some more details about Too Human's multiplayer mode. Too Human is a day one for me (who doesnt love action RPG in a sci-fi universe?)

Too Human has so many things about it that peaks my interest, I love the Norse Mythology, action RPG, sci-fi stuff. Next to Gears2, its my most anticipated game this year, followed closely by NG2.

im gonna do some serious research on fable 2 before i get it. The last time i got fable the creator lied to me extremely hard about the stuff you can do in the game. He over hyped it and i was suckered into it like a fat kid chasing a candy bar. He honestly made fable seem like it was going to be the greatest game ever made. Then after i spent my hard earned cash on it. turns out most of the features he talked about were missing. Game was still fun tho

Pretty amazing line-up for THIS YEAR. Especially considering these are ONLY the M$-published games, not counting third-party exclusives.

So much for this being PS3rd's year.
