Last Tuesday, Square Enix re-released their wildly popular Tomb Raider reboot on both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. While the Definitive Edition proved to be a great next-gen port, the overall package was essentially the same game from last year with a few graphical improvements to amp up the overall gameplay experience.
We've gone on many adventures with Lara Croft. With another reboot in the making, Wealth of Geeks felt it was a good time to go down the nostalgia rabbit hole and remember the best of those tomb-raiding thrills.
For me, Legend should be alot higher (along with the other two ). Shadow, I enjoyed it, but has too much has fluff, as modern games tend to do. Playing the remastered series, and apart from the controls, is very good.
I really enjoyed the first 2 games, Legend and the first of the reboots and the rest I didn’t get into so I never finished.
Completely subjective list. I really liked Underworld, I preferred Lara's design. That said I loved the horror/uncharted feel of the reboot. I think all the TR games have strengths and weaknesses. None are objectively better in every way.
PC Tomb Raider fans can continue to experience and enjoy entirely new parts of Tomb Raider 2 with Nicobass' ongoing remake.

Tomb Raider 2 & 3 were such a bummer when they were released. I really didnt like them.
I love the reboot, but give us more tombs and puzzles please! :)
How about things we DON'T want?
Here's a list:
1. Multiplayer.
1.) A TRUE next gen engine! No more "bet hedging" by making these engines to run on both previous and current gen. I want a true, built from the ground up, impossible to run on anything but new hardware engine!
