New Destiny Screenshots Shine With Bungie Flavor

Bungie added two new screenshots to the gallery on the official Destiny website, giving us a further glimpse on the upcoming shooter that will be released on September 9th for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3.

This just screams a game I can dump stupid amounts of hours into, and those are the ones that I actually consider the asking price of $60. I've seen way too many games get away with having weak gameplay and a shit story still asking for better of a hundred dollar bill. Why? Because they get away with it. Unacceptable. You want my hard earned money, you need to earn it like I do.

This game is gonna be money well spent and an awesome time sponge, I guarantee it. Between the different levelling trees, customisation and exploration, this game deserves A LOT more hype around here. I'm sure that'll all change soon though ;)

MP games with alot of replay value, tons of mp maps should be $60.

Sp games should be $40 imo.

This looks like Halo on another plant.

I don't really mean that it's just something ps4 fans would say to downplay the game if it was exclusive. But look at all the praise since it's multi plat. All in all Destiny looks great I'll definitely be playing come September.

I almost lost my s*** for a second, I mistook that white armored solider for a Cyborg Ninja, as the weapons look like Katana's on a quick glance.

Man, if only, all I see is cool guns but Bungie did have some great high-tech close-combative weapons. Would be cool if they add a set or two in Destiny.

I never got into Halo. I'm not a fan of multiplayer. But games like Destiny and The Division (also, Need for Speed Rivals) help me ease comfortably into these things. The seamless switch from me being me to me being part of a team is actually something I like. And I love space and the idea of alternate civilizations. So as long as I can get away and explore on my own sometimes, Destiny and I will have a lot of fun together.

There are some awesome ones of The Moon right here, and there are so many planets to explore as well. Can't wait! I guess all the planets are changed too, like Venus having jungles, from what I heard it has something to do with The Traveller..

I'm most excited for the soundtrack. Always got pumped up in Halo with Marty O Donnell's score in the background. Never has a game had a better one IMO. Hope it continues with Destiny.

The only thing most ppl had seen from them was Halo.

Halo is decent, but there are many mp games that are.

As for Destiny, nobody has played it, might be excellent, might be ok.

Graphically it looks very nice in places, Dynamic lighting looks good.

PS4 version will obviously look the best. these images are taken from it.

They didn't just leave part of the deal was for Microsoft to still own stock Bungie.LLC.....Ho hummm, so when your playing that beautiful game on your PS4 your still paying Microsoft.

It's a pretty good deal. Bungie gets to make games across all platforms. Micosoft still own stock and any game Bungie makes will always be on the Xbox platform.

I don't think the character models look that detailed, not a huge number of polygons and the textures are pretty flat. Environments look much better than the character models.

I love Bungie and I'm so looking forward to playing Destiny but I also agree with you. The art style just screams Halo and no one can deny it, not that it is a bad things, I was just hoping Bungie made Destiny look distinctly different than Halo.

It's crazy to me... Right now it just seems so dry in terms of available game titles to play for the ps4, but when the latter half of this year nears...

Shit's going to be so real there won't be enough time to play Infamous, Driveclub, Watch Dogs, The Order 1886, Destiny, Uncharted(If released Christmas time) and who knows what else awaits us. Man, Backlogs will be born in households. lol

halo defined the console multiplayer experience, whether you choose to accept it or not.

destiny has more in common wit it than it doesn't.

As far as I am concerned, this is another halo universe, and I am happy with that.

It certainly is no more different that a bunch of COD devs making Titanfall...

I have played halo 2, and 3 and I never cared for it, I'm hoping they put a new taste on this game, same with titanfall I want a new feel to these games instead of just copies of old ones.
