Moving back to Bandicoot's roots, Senior Producer Kristen Forbes tells all in a revealing look at the new Crash title.
Lex: How about let’s take a trip back to memory lane and see what were the best main Crash games.
Crash 3 Warped, and 2 are my favs for the main games
Crash Team Racing is amazing and Crash Bash is fun
Twinsanity And Ctr are my favorites (And still playing CTR from time to time). Not the biggest fan of the first 3 games,. Not that they are bad, But I rather play something like rayman legends or mario. They often have better precision to the platforming, and 60 fps has a lot to do with it. Also easier to get a sense of speed with those games while crash is a bit limited with his abilites.
Missed heaps of games including Crash Purple on GBA, Racing titles, Crash Bash and Crash Boom Bang on DS
2014 has seen renewed requests from gamers to bring back the once loved platforming icon, Crash Bandicoot, and A Pixelated View wants to find out why.
Last good game for me was Twinsanity
The music and gameplay was fantastic...plus Cortex in that game was hilarious
"It's true...blondes do have more fun"
For me crash never fell, I only played crash the ones naughty made, when other took the franchise it wasnt the same anymore.
These are the only Crash games that I've ever played and I plan on keeping it that way to keep my good memories of him.
Crash
Crash 2
Crash 3
Crash Team Racing
Crash Bash
Crash Nitro Kart
Crash The Wrath of Cortex
GamesAsylum rounds up the best deals on the Xbox 'Games on Demand' service
Oh dear these prices are awful, and that on offer?
Steam has the right idea when it comes to sales, these are old games
They aren't on offer. These are the usual prices which are vastly cheaper than buying these games at retail.
Um, ok, how about NO.
This game needs to go BACK to its PLAYSTATION ONE roots.
This should be a sidescroller / 3D platformer. Crash Bandicoot games were a wonderful adventure way back in the day, and I miss the level selection, and the boss fights, and the linear levels with a couple side paths here and there...
Seriously....all this fancy crap doesn't belong in a Crash game.
I miss uka-uka and aku-aku, and I miss the innocence and silly humor of the old Crash days.
I don't like, nor do I respect, these new directions towards which they are taking the Crash franchise.
It's too convoluted, and too complicated, and that's not what Crash games have EVER been about.
