Thank god i love the Hitman series just hope they make it more like the originals and not so much like absolution (which was a great game)

vishmarx3770d ago

im actually relieved....really liked absolution

Frankskint3770d ago

Absolution was incredibly fun to play. Very happy to see this post.

Black-Helghast3770d ago

Haven't played Absolution yet but I have it downloaded cause of PS+. I'm pretty sure I'll like it since it's Hitman and I loved the originals a lot.

Now they can beat the dead horse that they helped assassinate, named the stealth genre.

those crowds are gonna look awesome and the game will feel that much more realistic

patelsanjeed3770d ago

This is great news, so glad we will be seeing hit man on next-gens.

henrythomas2843770d ago

I was actually very surprised when I read it was canceled. It's such an epic game. Nice to know its not been cancelled.

ArronNelson3770d ago

This is funny because hitman cancelled is one if the top trending news on the forum and only a few of us know that its not been cancelled. I love N4G

Riderz13373770d ago

Thank god. Sure Absolution might not have been the best in the series, but it still was a pretty good game. It also sold pretty well, albeit I don't know what the actual sales expectations SE had for the game.

Would love to see a next gen only sequel. Don't make a PS3/360 version so the graphics only get minor improvements on next gen =/.

staticdash223770d ago

It's financially riskier for them not to release on ps3/360. We've had next gen for a couple months with less than 5 million install base of each console, business wise is not smart. It's up to the developers to push the next gen consoles, just as we've seen a few games. hether or not they want to similar experience across platfroms, is their call.

imtheman20133770d ago

I would go as far to say that Absolution is my favorite next to Blood Money. I spent countless hours on both of these games, trying to stealth through every level perfectly. One thing I really liked in Absolution were the challenges in each level; they added a ton of replay value!

Anyway, great series! It's good to hear that it will be making an appearance on the PS4 and Xbox One!

Some of the Best First Levels in Gaming

Is World 1-1 the greatest first level ever?

A great weight rests on the shoulders of the opening area of a game. Be it a level, a mission, or the first quest in a role-playing adventure, this zone, barring any opening cutscenes, marks the first time players will get to experience the world developers spent tireless months and years creating. In our current era of widely available and disposable games, that first sequence is so important because if it’s poor, the player has a million options it can substitute it for.
