Soul Calibur is one of those series that in recent installments seems to of lost its way, the once popular arena fighter, has seemed to focus too much on a story mode, and special characters ,Who can forget dearth Vader and yoga making a special appearance. It’s not to say that the actual fighting has changed more that the general feel of the series has gone a bit too serious, so it isn’t a big surprise that they are remaking them in HD forms, even I’m personally waiting for a HD of the 3rd.
Let's have a look on how Mitsurugi changed over the years since Soul Calibur 2. Which model you like better?
Don't really care for the new model and I also find it a bit lazy that they're using the same animations since the FIRST Soul Calibur 16 years ago...
First 4 Figures has made an amazing Taki statue for you collectors and is also doing a giveaway, check it out our post for details!
For the low low price of $435 you too can have a statue of Taki. F4F has outrageous pricing. Especially for how cheap their figures look.
Jason Stettner of Gamerheadquarters writes; "Soulcalibur II is probably my favorite fighting game and one of the best of all time in its genre. "
yes the fighting has changed! Its why I don't play the recent SC5. Removing of nearly all moves from characters. Removal of characters in itself (Kilik fighting style, Talim). Removal of the ability to guard impact freely but introduce guard break fatigue. This is worser than what happened to Tekken where Namco fucked tekken 4 up.
Give me SCIII HD I love Chronicles of the Sword mode :D
