2014 is here, promising a stream of exciting games for the new next-gen consoles (PS4 and Xbox One). While some titles mark the beginning of new worlds, others come from established franchises.

Maybe the Order. I'm not convinced Infamous will be great it looks a lot like another Prototype and the LOD between cutscenes and gameplay looks different

If Deep down has some different environments and the gameplay is improved it'll be a good game

Uncharted will be amazing like usual

I was very interested in Destiny but I don't know if the ambition and vision will be realized. It kind of looks like a regular 1st person shooter

Driveclub snd Destiny will probably be good, but the others look boring. Order and Deep Down were on my radar for a while, but the more I learned about them the more I realized they aren't that great. I didn't even finish the second infamous because it was boring.

The problem here is you talk about PS4 exclusives not being up to your tastes or standards.

But the vast majority of the exclusives you list for your desired console, haven't even been confirmed for 2014, nor can you say much about because we know very little about them.

Fair enough, but i think you are wrong about Infamous SS, the Infamous games are much better quality than Prototype was, and just all round better....in my opinion.

Not sure why you say Cut scenes look different, because everything we have seen so far apart from the initial reveal trailer is in-game.

Also, lol at calling Destiny "a regular first person shooter" but you list Titanfall and Halo 5, compared to those 2 Destiny looks much more varied and unique. Im looking forward to both of those games but they are just FPS's at the end of the day......Something tells me you are hating on it because it will be have PS4 exclusive content.

infamous and Prototype are much different games...

Personally, I prefer Crackdown to both of them... That is just my preference.

As for Destiny, it looks like a typical Bungie game... I doubt it is generic, and I wonder why anyone that likes Halo would slag it, because from what I have seen the gameplay is very similar.

I agree with @Gamer666 in regards to Destiny… It's a Bungie game, and from the looks of it, it'll be playing almost identically to Halo. Everything from the reload animations to the weapon design… The walk cycle to the enemy AI.

And this is a good thing!

Though, I can't help but feel that [playstation] people will call it better than Halo, and everyone else who's played Halo will say it's almost identical - gameplay wise. Obviously that's speculation, as I've yet to play it, but judging from any/all the gameplay footage we've seen so far, Destiny is looking more like Halo than Titanfall is looking like COD. (And I'm of the mindset that sees COD all over the reload animations of Titanfall… And I'm unsure whether or not that reality upsets me.)

It's speculation like that which is the basis of fanyoyism (not suggesting you are one).
I've owned and played some (not all) of the Halo series, and I could never get into it. It just didn't grab me like some other FPS games - that being said, I've gone off FPS games generally this last generation. However Destiny certainly looks appealing.

I think it's funny that people are implying that lifeisgamesok is a fanboy because of the list he made, when it is the fanboy mindset that is annoyed when hearing a list of Xbox exclusives. I own both and agree with most of what he said and agree that it is his taste or he wouldn't own the console never mind any of the games.

The only games i am looking forward to from Sony are infamous and the order 1886. I loved InFamous 1 and 2. I though they were special, even with games like Protoype and Crackdown being there (to me they all just complimented each other)they all involved energetically traversing open worlds but I think infamous executed the Parkour/ climbing mechanics the best. The order looks intriguing because of the original story and setting and because I like shooting games out of all of the genres.

I do not like games with swords and shields (Assassin's Creed, The Witcher were good and even Ryse was quite fun)I do not like the look of deep down. I never wanted to play dark souls/demons souls and i think the modern day twist has been done with Assassin's Creed (Capcom are probably using something "different" like genetics over machinery to explain it and if that is the case, it is just predictable.)

I have always hated driving games, solid but boooooooooooring.

Planetside 2 is too fast and too arcady for me, games like battlefield, cod and KIllzone are arcady but they are slower to play and more relaxing than bouncy bouncy games, even Titanfall looks slower and more pleasant to play than Planetside 2.

Destiny looks pleasant but I'm still getting the same vibes as deep down being a Dark Souls and Assassin's Creed amalgamation. a mixture of borderlands and halo with a Multiplayer fallout style world. I very much hope i get proven wrong with these games.

I am not trying to offend, this is my opinion sprinkled with my worries.

i can't wait to hear about games we all know are coming but haven't been announced yet. sony has so many games in development....the exclusives are going to be crazy.

For me is The Order hands downs. I don't see another game more interesting than this. Infamous and Thief looks good. Bungie needs to do a better job explaining and showing Destiny. It looks good. I want to see more Halo 5.

Don't get me wrong here... The same can be said of Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive, Fable Legends, etc...

I just don't know why people are automatically assuming The Order is complete greatness without seeing any significant amount of gameplay.

Marketing is really pulling the wool over people's eyes... To me, a game is not great until I play it and feel its greatness... Not from some marketing team shoving greatness down my throat.

For the PS4 the game I'm most excited about is Infamous. I know everyone is talking about The Order but we still haven't seen any gameplay footage or even know what type of game it's going to be so I can't get too excited about that, I'm looking forward to Infamous. For the X1 it's Titanfall but I'm getting more and more excited about Quantum Break.

PS4: Infamous, The Order, Drive Club, Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Watch Dogs, Far Cry 4, and the Division.

3DS: Monster Hunter 4 and Super Smash Bros. I really love the 3DS can't wait for more games to be announced. 2013 was a epic year for the portable.

PC: Titan Fall and Dark Souls 2.

I would've put something down for Xbox one but I don't own one and don't plan to, but if I did it would be Titan Fall, but I can just get it on PC.
