In addition to being available on the PlayStation 3, VidZone can now be downloaded on the PlayStation 4 as well, Sony announced on its PlayStation blog. The application lets users stream music videos for free on the console and has been “fully optimized” for the PS4 to offer “faster start up times and quick navigation,” as well as “enhanced social integration features” including grabbing screenshots and sharing them with friends over Twitter and Facebook directly from the PS4 controller, and having VidZone activity displayed in friends’ “What’s New” feed. The VidZone application offers access to thousands of HD music videos and support for creating unlimited playlists and watching hundreds of VidZone TV channels. The app can be downloaded free of charge from the “TV & Video section” of the PS4’s home screen, or from the “App” section of the PlayStation Store.

Nice one Sony - once again proof that listening to your fanbase can have a positive effect.
Vidzone started out as a nice idea, but was shonky as hell.
They've been updating this regularly and it now has a really slick UI, updated with loads of new (and old) videos every week and it's an awesome application. The social features are very cool if you're into that.
My only gripe is the advertisements; give me the option to pay a small fee, either to subscribe or just to use it 'ad free' for 24 hours, like if I have people round. The reason it bothers me so much is twofold; they have like 5 ads repeated over and over and they are FAR too loud. Fix these and it's pure gold ;o)
I might have to download this and see how it is. Music Unlimited still only works intermittently for me, and I'm getting tired of it (I've been a subscriber since around its launch and never had these kinds of problems).
I can do this on anything. All i need to do is go on Youtube, this is hardly anything to get excited about.
