Arenas far from Earth will soon be filled with intense vehicle combat. Buena Vista Games today announced details about "Novadrome," a sci-fi vehicle combat game, for Xbox Live Arcade. Developed by Stainless Games Ltd. exclusively for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system, "Novadrome" puts gamers behind the wheel of an armed, buggy-style vehicle to face off in gladiatorial combat on a distant planet. With three single-player options and a frantic multiplayer mode, the game will be available for download worldwide this Holiday.
"Immensely fun to play, easily available and affordable, 'Novadrome' captures what gamers are looking for in an Xbox Live Arcade title," said Michael Ryder, senior vice president of global production, Buena Vista Games. "Offline, players can battle enemies or explore sprawling arenas filled with obstacles and power-ups. After learning the basics, they can then vie for ultimate bragging rights by engaging friends and other Xbox Live Arcade combatants through the highly customizable online multiplayer mode."

i have the first one but never really played it. The crash course one is pretty fun though. Sort of a mix of ninja warrior and wipeout.
dash of destruction...had to think a minute. Seeing as i never played it i cant say one way or the other. It was free and for a free game that is better than Yaris it cant be all that bad.

crash course is the latest one with avatar support. The first one was called dash of destruction and it was some kind of trex running around breaking stuff in a top down type of view.

I don't know of the game you are talking about.. but, if I'm not mistaken, they (Doritos) had another game, for XBLa. This game was played with four(4) teams of two players, or with bots, where one player drove a vehicle around a track in a race, using a select of 4 vehicles. The other player controlled turrets, that were placed around the track, to shoot at and destroy the contending teams vehicles or gunners. Whilst the driver tried to avoid the gunners, and to remain in first place (obviously) while picking up 'abilities.' Such abilities were that of one giving your vehicle a shield, one that upgraded your gunners turrets, one downgraded the contending gunners turrets, and one for a boost (I believe).
Fun game, I say. It's called Harm's Way. It's free.

very few screenshots have come out around this game so I am definitely curious. I will download the demo for sure.

Only an 8 (though still very good of course) for Lost Planet, i would be ever so slightly dissapointed given the hype recieved. Will still pick up when it lands.
Lost Planet scoring lower (a FULL POINT lower) than Hoops 2K7 (which sucks ass, and is no different from 2K6) is complete bullsh*t. In reality, LP is probably an 8.5-9, and 2K7 a 7-7.5.
I didnt think much of lost planet. Acually I thought it sucked(both demos at least)So for me,an 8 is too high.
