AquaPazza: Aquaplus Dream Match Review | GIZORAMA

GIZORAMA - Atlus is really good at bringing Japanese niche titles to western audiences. AquaPazza: Aquaplus Dream Match, a 2011 arcade fighting game developed by Examu, is the definition of niche titles. Aquapazza features 26 characters in a mashup of various Aquaplus manga and anime titles such as Tears to Tiara, To Heart, and Utawarerumono. These titles are obscure to all but the hardcore anime fans in the western audiences. It's the publishers who decide the sales, not the distributors. So when a publisher puts a game on sale, it's on sale (or should be) through EVERY retailer.

This is why you can walk into a Gamestop, for example, and see a new copy of a game selling for less than a used copy--because the Publisher sets the price for the former, and the retailer for the latter.
