European PlayStation Plus in January: DmC, Soul Sacrifice, Borderlands 2, more

"PlayStation Europe has revealed which games PS Plus members will be able to download as part of their subscriptions later this month. These include a game that has long been rumoured as a likely addition to the Instant Game Collection – DmC: Devil May Cry – as well as two titles which were recently given away to PS Plus subscribers in North America – Soul Sacrifice and Borderlands 2."

Give it time, it took a long while after launch before Vita got any free games or PS+ perks at all. Id imagine in the next 6-12 months Knack will be free and Driveclub PS+ editon is still coming when that eventually releases and id imagine that will be after Infamous releases so maybe April onwards.

They did state that one game per month was the plan for the PS4 back at E3 in June. The first month was an exception.

It will probably move to two games once the PS4 has established a bigger game library, at which point they'll probably reduce the PS3 offering to one game as it will be on its way out by then.

Nice, already own Borderlands 2 and Blazblue on vita, but now means will have a few mates who will want to play co-op on Borderlands which is good as ive played it solo so far and some missions can be quite tricky that way.

Also me and a friend were about to buy two copuies of Soul Sacrifice to play co-op over christmas so thats a bonus, although I will end up buying a physical copy anyway as im a collector and am aiming to buy every physical game released in EU for Vita.

Bah, I just bought Borderlands 2 during the steam autumn sale, that's irritating. Looking forward to trying DmC at last. Really happy we get Blazblue, been meaning to try that for a long time. Never heard of SS honestly so should be interesting.
Super happy for Don't Starve though. Always begrudged buying the game on steam since wasn't sure if I would enjoy it, always waited for that 50% off or more sale. But now its free, even better.

If it's inferior in every gameplay aspect , yes it did . Might be good to some people , just not good enough for many fans of an established serie . Anyway time to move on obviously , "haters" or "lovers" , the dice was thrown and the game isnt even a commercial success , so there isnt even a lot to argue about

No DmC was just awful. DmC was nowhere near any of the original DMC games, especially 1,3,4. Just go watch the combo movies, the combat system is definitely less in-depth.

It was an awful DmC game but a great game, same thing with the Tomb Raider reboot

Nah Tomb raider not following the old style TB , is where the comparison ends .

new TB was still a super production mostly acclaimed and actually accepted by the public . Not just an easy going press that for the most part discovered DMC with it and the hd trilogy

DmC was a turd for many DMC fans , a forgettable game for newcomers and didnt make non-fans care at all

Both the Tomb Raider reboot and DmC were "bad" if the only barometer of their worthiness were the past games

Tomb Raider fans criticised it for the way Lara behaved, not being as adventurous as the old one and the lack of actual tomb raiding

DmC haters said they didn't like the character design, the changed story line or the changed combat

A lot of people that were objective when playing the games found them both to be good games. Both are critically acclaimed by critics that's why I find it funny seeing people stating DmC is an awful game matter of factually

The level of reception both got from the public has to do with advertising and the fact that I think the general public knows who Lara Croft is more than Dante. Neither game is bad

Yes! more new comes are welcome. That's one thing I like about PS+; It invigorates a games multilayer. I own the first Borderlands with all the dlc. When it dropped on Plus last year, the player count exploded.
