iOS games on VGX?

Oh dear god please kill me now.

Pintheshadows3826d ago

The show has been awful. Quantum Break looked okay but apart from that it has been more of Geoff Keighley's overhype.

ricochetmg3826d ago (Edited 3826d ago )

Quantum Break looked average to me. I thought I was the only one.

Pintheshadows3826d ago

You weren't. No Man's Sky made watching this dross worth it for me. That to me is more next gen than everything else and it is being made by 4 people.

Dewitt3826d ago

This looks cool, would like to see it on android, really liked Anomaly.

I didn't know that a game console, which will be released 7 years after the PS4, will "have much more detail in the game worlds than before"!!!!!!!

Modern journalism at its best.

TheKingKratos1650d ago

What if i told you ...(just try to stay calm because i am about to drop a bomb on you)

that ps5 will have better graphics than ps4 ... i swear i am not lying

Fist4achin1650d ago

Speculation!

Absolutely hilarious...

Neonridr1650d ago

I'd say you have zero facts to back up such a ridiculous claim. Sounds like witchcraft to me.

SolidGamerX1650d ago (Edited 1650d ago )

This cant be real!

Smokehouse1650d ago

I heard the same thing. I have a friend who has a third cousin that works for Sony. It’s a reliable source, big facts.

rainslacker1649d ago

Pfft. You're not a dev, what would you know?

Journalism is absolute garbage. Very few journalists who aren't despicable and clueless.

medman1650d ago (Edited 1650d ago )

Raziology, with all proper respect.....your information sucks. I have it on very good authority that the PS5 will have much more power than the ps4, but the detail will remain about the same. Film at 11.

Skuletor1650d ago

Are Gamingbolt's journalists freelancing for Gamesradar now?

JEECE1650d ago

I hope Remedy can last that long. They have to be one of the most underrated devs. They don't quite have the same 3rd person magic as some of Sony's first party, but they're a few steps away.

SethBrundlefly1650d ago

Well played Gamesradar. Well played.

Doctor Strange & Remedy Is Surely a Match Made in Heaven

There's far too much smoke in the air when it comes to Sony and Remedy for there not to be something in the works. Following Control's timed-exclusive DLC on PlayStation 4 and numerous studio visits from PlayStation's bigwigs, it’s believable the two companies have something big cooked up for the PS5. It's probably going to be a new IP you'll only find on Sony's next-generation system, it's sort of the Finnish studio's forte, but what if we can go bigger than that?

Marvel's Spider-Man is proof that the Japanese giant has built a positive relationship with Marvel Games, so let's leverage that once more for a superhero experience unlike any other. Remedy is the perfect developer for a video game adaptation of Doctor Strange.

"It's probably going to be a new IP you'll only find on Sony's next-generation system, it's sort of the Finnish studio's forte...."
No, because Remedy is working on Crossfire' X's campaign for Xbox and Remedy has made a deal to publish more games for 505 games. The ps4 timed exclusive deal for Control and Epic game store's exclusivity wasn't a decision made by Remedy but the greedy 505 games. 505 games had more to gain from the Epic store deal than Remedy.
Plus people were saying that Remedy games will do great on PlayStation but instead Control has bombed due to the lack of support from PlayStation gamers. Remedy failed to gain fans from PlayStation gamers who instead would rather wait for deals to buy the game rather than day 1 support. They should have chosen Microsoft as their publisher and allow themselves to be acquired by them.

Sonyslave31677d ago

Yup and why would doctor strange be ps4 only?

SkatterBrain1676d ago

I DonT Get Why I Can Play Max Payne 1 and 2 and never get bored but most of the other games i played from remedy i dont feel the urge to play again after i finished them

P_Bomb1677d ago

“Remedy failed to gain fans from PlayStation gamers who instead would rather wait for deals to buy the game rather than day 1 support. They should have chosen Microsoft as their publisher and allow themselves to be acquired by them.”

So Control bombed because Playstation owners like deals? Surely you realize had they done it your way, it’d be on GamePass for even less. The irony.

Spurg1677d ago

"So Control bombed because Playstation owners like deals?"
That the general consensus. Care to explain why it didn't sell?

"Surely you realize had they done it your way, it’d be on GamePass for even less. The irony."
If the game landed on Gamepass it would have given Control the attention it deserved. If it wasn't for 505 games and their doggy deals with Epic games and Sony they game would have likely been on Gamepass.

@ Spurg what's your point with ps4's install base of 100M? Control has to be at least in top 20 because of the install base? LMAO where's the logic in that. last i heard, people buy games if Games if they like it and its good. How is that the install base's fault? It lies solely on the Marketing and the game itself. its not the gamers fault if the game isnt up to their standard or worth their money. Who are you to dictate which games people should buy? lmao

P_Bomb1677d ago (Edited 1677d ago )

@shaggy
Eh. One guy talking about a 3 year old indie (Oxenfree) I’ve never heard of before today, that was more than likely no longer selling like most things 3 years old...doesn’t speak to this https://www.mcvuk.com/borde...

PS4 users aren’t responsible for Control not selling on Xbox.

Spurg1677d ago

"PS4 users aren’t responsible for Control not selling on Xbox."

No they are not but PlayStation gamers did not contribute elevate the sales of Control.
The marketing right were with PlayStation which means Xbox gamers had less exposure Control and as well as the smaller player pool mean it wasn't going to sell well on Xbox.

Unlike some of you, I have a copy of Control which I bought day one because I am a fan of remedy games and the game reviewed well amongst gamers and critics. And you bring up my point clearly, out of the 100 million gamers on PS4 at least a small majority of single-player gamers should have bought those kinds of games day one. But there was no support and this was supposed to be the first time in a long time that Remedy has launched a game on PlayStation, so the excitement should have been there. There was absolutely no competition in august for Control it didn't sell well on the PlayStation 4 which had the full marketing rights. If you want to blame someone you should try aiming that at the PlayStation marketing team who have not given Control the spotlight it deserves.

And people are saying that Sony should buy Remedy...what a joke

Abcdefeg1676d ago

Maybe control is just not a very appealing title. This year had a ton of single player games released like sekiro and dmc and most of them were very successful

JetP06191676d ago

lmao @Spurg i really cant take your comments seriously. Unlike some of us? We have to force ourselves to be a fan of remedy games as well? So youre basically saying even if we dont really want to play the game or not interested in the game we should buy it because we have to be like you? Lmao. Like i said No logic. You can still support a company and not buy their games. The spotlight it deserves? Lmao if a game is good, people will talk about it. Word would spread out, just from word of mouth. If a game isnt or subpar thenits the latter. you cant FORCE PEOPLE to think and act like you. Just because YOU ENJOYED it doesnt mean the rest of us do. Maybe next time you try and debate, actually think of what you say.

l3w1s1676d ago

Control didn't sell well on PS4 because it was garbage on launch. Have you seen the performance on base PS4? I played it on the Pro, with the latest patch, in 1080p and it still managed to have FPS drops.

I liked the game VERY MUCH. But Remedy sold a broken product on release and didn't deserve any money at that time.

That’s jumping the gun a bit much wouldn’t you say? I’d assume Remedy if it were to work with Sony would make an original property before they start working on a licensed one

Fluttershy771676d ago

I'd love it but Strange has always been kind of a cult character ,with the Marvel movies became a little more mainstream, but defintely doesn't have the appeal Spidey has...

Its not. It says Remedy owns the IP. MS owns Alan Wake.
