Gaijin Entertainment: "We're not the greedy bastards here"

Whether by micro-transactions or rising retail prices, the cost of AAA gaming on consoles is creeping ever upwards. It was in the air as eager gamers lined up to push PlayStation 4 to record-breaking sales. It was on the forums and and in the comments threads as disappointed Xbox One fans balked at the prices attached to Forza 5's rarest vehicles.

Please SONY, release War Thunder for PS4 in North America ASAP! This is the game I'm most excited about in the short term.

Do you know if is possible to download it on the european create a gaijin account and then when is released on the US use the same gaijin account and keep your progress?

Sigfredod, you must have done something wrong, because you can certainly play it on your main account. Look up a guide on Google to see what step you missed.

This was the first thing I downloaded when I got my PS4 and besides having other games I have not touched them apart from Resogun, my daughters boyfriend loves it and can't believe it was free.

i played it for a while (like lvl 8 for each nation)..but uhm ..is pretty repetitive...

they need to improve it a lots

I know it's on PC and Mac, but my iMac is kinda crappy and I work in front of my computer at home, all day, so when I'm gaming I want it to be anywhere but my home office!

I've been playing it since beta opened on the PC. It's just another pay to win crap game that has an identity crisis. On one end it wants to be a more arcade type game that is accessible to lots of people, and on the other it is trying to be a simulator. It succeeds in neither at the moment unfortunately.

ALSO if you spend $40 you become almost untouchable. You can buy squad points which make your aircraft turn more sharply, see enemies better, be more accurate, have less jams, and black out less. So in typical pay to win game fashion they alienate everyone who doesn't want to drop cash just to stay competitive. Basically you spend a ton of cash or you spend billions of hours farming the points for free, all the while getting decimated.

To anyone wondering, War Thunder is phenomenal. The tanks are coming soon, too. I can't wait!

Gaijin has been taking care of its fan base since War Thunder went public. The community seems to love them, based on their forums and the War Thunder subreddit. I'll be glad to purchase more planes, tanks, and ships in the future. (Ships are coming sometime next year, hopefully.)

War Thunder on PS4 is HUGE. An awesome free-to-play game that doesn't really have a competitor on the other consoles. With PC/PS4 cross-platform play and the "Air-Land-Sea" battles coming in the future this game is going to continue to grow it's already gigantic fanbase.

Oh yes, they are super fun. You spend about ten minutes taking off and trying to reach a good altitude, and then another five flying to your target only to be shot down in one hit by flak or some moron flying a noob spitfire.

I like it just wish you controlled the planes directly rather than by a fake mouse effect so you could get out of those dreadful death sounds where you're not able to see the cursor add you try to pull away from the ground.
