Life is back to normal in the video game new release department after back-to-back weeks of next-gen console and game launches. If you are an early adopter of either new system then your wallet is surely hurting and needs time to recuperate, which it will get this week thanks to a lineup of lackluster new releases. Outside of a few PS4 re-releases there are no new next-gen games coming out this week, so most of the new titles are for the old consoles, in particular the PS3.
Gary Green said: The concept for a good sequel is not a complicated thing. You take your original idea and expand on the lore, then you fix anything that was broken the first time around. You might want to introduce some new features too; This is fine so long as you don’t go overboard, and you don’t change the overall flow of the game. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory ticks all of these boxes, so surely then it should be the perfect package? Well, almost. It really is rather good.

Originally released back on the PS Vita in 2012, the HD remaster can still be forgiven for having very basic looking graphics, as back then that was all the little handheld console could master.
