Interesting, the main goal is to cut out hacked pokemon, a bit dumb, since alot of people like to trade their competitive pokemon from game to game, and just to start a new team like that takes ALOT of time. You have to EV train, make sure you have the right nature, ability, attacks, breeding stats/moves, level them up to 100, and even then, it isn't guaranteed to be a good pokemon. I can see why people would be mad.
