Brutal New Wardevil Screenshots Released

Wardevil developers Digi-Guys have released 5 new screenshots of the PS3 exclusive title. These images have been taken from the first gameplay trailer for the game, which is set for release very soon. While previous screenshots from the trailer were released last week, these new screenshots show off a more violent aspect of the game.

The 5 new screenshots can be viewed under: Images > 2008 Preview Gallery. Scroll through to the end of the images, and you will see the 5 new screenshots.

Anyways visuals look pretty damn impressive. I am still skeptical considering digi guys are pretty much unknown but it definitely looks like they have the tools to deliver something epic. I wonder if it can still sneak into 2008. Remember uncharted came thru unexpected at gamers day so you never know. Anyway good luck to them

Ninja Gaiden 2 does run at 60 frames per second. There is a video -- an early build from GDC in February showing the game played on a 360 that looks better than Ninja Gaiden from the Xbox.

At 50 minutes and 15 seconds you will be able to watch the game in action and decide on your own whether the game merits or looks like it runs at 60 frames per second. Once again, I don't know what the resolutution is but its not running at 30 fps I can assure you.

Sweet, just after 54 minutes the guy translating for the "leader of Team Ninja" mentions that at our save points just before boss battles, it starts a recording process that once done recording the battles, we players can load our battles on Xbox Live so other players around the world can witness our defeats or our successes. That sounds pretty cool to me.

Anyways, I came here because the title seemed interesting... "Brutal New Wardevil Screenshots Released" knowing that this was a PS3 game and a system I don't own yet but had intended to own it when God of War 3 comes out. If this game comes out sooner than God of War 3, I may buy my PS3 then. Actually guys and gals.. I will admit that all that I have seen and read about Resistance:Fall of Man and some other PS3 exclusives and the likelyhood that a part two is in the works, when my tax returns come back, I will be buying my PS3.

It hurts waiting around too much longer. haha But I am glad I was able to take a minute and kindly let you all know that NG2 does run at 60 frames per second and if you watched the video from GDC and you happen to be a fan of ninjas, then you will probably agree with me when I say that NG2 looks pretty awsome. I'm just glad that I already own an Xbox, Xbox 360, PS2 and soon I will be owning a PS3. I have the best of all the worlds. GAMERS RULE!!!

P.S. If I can come across something that might try to confirm a resolution of the game, I will come back and let all my friends from N4G know the results of my findings. Til next time.

Let's not all jump to conclusions over a few screen shots here. Maybe it could run 1920x1080p @60fps. But how many times has something been hyped about graphics to only be disappointed by game play? I say wait and see first before we make any real judgment.

You just couldn't say something good but still felt the need to post. Ah, I see now, nothing to comment on in the 360 section because there is nothing to anticipate, LOL. I understand now, misery loves company, too bad for you all the good news has been for the PS3.

Why don't you go read over the IGN review of GTA4 and cry yourself to sleep buddy,LOL. I hope you got some towels ready for when GTA4 hits, you might need them just to get through the intro on your 360, LOL.

But yeah, when you look at games like uncharted and motorstorm - these games are graphical powerhouses, it isn't that far fetched that these shots are authentic. Those games came out early in the consoles life, just imagine what games will look like when the devs, who are still familiarizing themselves w/ the PS3 architecture, can unleash its full potential.

Flippin hell these screens look stunning in every sense of the word... Jesus Christ!!!... Its been harsh owning a ps3 and being screwed over by inferior looking games (ports)... But when it delivers great looking games like R&C and Uncharted you cant help but feel like your console has accomplished something beautiful... On a technical level visually stunning games rock but im more of an Art >>> Graphics type of guy... Luckily the artwork on this game is great too...

Developers need to wake up and realise this sort of potential for the PS3... I personally think Dev's are lazy and think theres no point in making a game thats visually stunning if they can make it inferior for the 360 and port it over to PS3... (that is not a jab at the 360 btw) I think Devs should at least follow R*'s and IW's standards of making multi plat games...

I'll let the picture speak for itself. If you are still not convinced, look at the video I linked at thread 8.3 and watch all of it if you like or if you just want to see what I am talking about, go to the frame I mentioned around 48 minutes in is when the NG 2 portion starts.

Right after the Ninja Gaiden clip, Peter Molyneux speaks about and plays a build of Fable 2. Another exclusive in addition to Ninja Gaiden 2 coming out for the Xbox 360. Enjoy it.
