I agree with you 100% saying GTA V will be PS3 exclusive, as if we already didn't figure out. If you think L.A. Noire is coming to 360 after what Rockstar said about GTA V, then you have no sense at all. I guess the verdict has spoken and the PS3 version as I predicted is the best. I haven't spoken on any of this GTA IV stuff, but now I finally do. I wonder why didn't I get my EGM today? I guess it will get here Monday or Tuesday as it usually comes before the month is over.

Lets be honest... Bioshock is and has been coming to the PS3. Ihave said it over ander. It barely sold 2 million on the 360 is a very big , expensive game.

Also, remember Sony DID say they had a Rockstar Exclusive to announce sometime this year... and that it WASN'T L.A. Noire...Be galad you guys are gettting that BOTS... L.A. Noire still began on the PS3... with Sony even originally financing it... Sony said the PS3 Exclusive was going to be a NEW IP... sounds freaking awesome. PS3 is getting better and better. It's goign to smoke the 360.

PS3 still get L.A. Noire(lead version), Max Payne and Red Dead Revolver.... but 360 ISN'T getting the PS3 Exclusive that will probably be announced at E3... you know Sony BOTS... they are going for the KILL.

Bioshock series is coming to the PS3... and it wouldn't make sense for Mass Effect not to either... it hasn't even sold 2 million yet... it doesnt make sense not to come. See a game like MGS4...it's ok to go Exclusive... or FF 13... because that will sale 5-7 million each in the long run... and maybe even more. A game selling only 1.5 million like Mass Effect... and a little over 2 million like Bioshock... although still defeiantely successful games....only like 5% of games even reach a million...but still not succesful enough for THESE games. Like if MGS4 only sold 2-3 million... it would probably HAVE to go multiplatfrom. That's not going to happen though.

Good things are in the future for PS3. Sony is planning everything out. They WILL go for the Kill.

No I doubt it's gonna be a remake of Persona 4 with HD graphics. It will most likely be Persona 5. Persona is really starting to into the mass market with all these entries into the Playstation family. It used to be such a hardcore series that it cost an arm and a leg to find and buy.

I'm really tired of this debate between graphics, I think this simply proves two things:

1) Rockstar North is a very talented developer to be able to be able to make the PS3 version run so well despite having the development been lead on the 360.
2) The PS3 is capable of all the graphics horsepower it was boasted to have. It simply rewards efficient coding and severely punishes poor ones, a lesson to all sub-par multi-platform developers that are not Rockstar, Infinity Ward, etc.

Besides this, who cares about the nitty details. I just want wait to get my hands on the game when I get back home.

We kept hearing rumor after rumor that the PS3 version looked a little better. And It was hard to believe.

But we should of sorta known when Rockstar themselves said it. Now, it's pretty much official.

And I'm surprised because multi platform games usually look a little better on 360.

The Difference is Rockstar actually put work into the PS3 version, not like cheap developers.

Rockstar built both versions from the ground up with 2 separate teams.
Also, Sony sent in their tech guys to ensure the PS3 version was as flawless as possible.

Its good to have a multi-platform game, especially a big one like GTA IV to perform better on the PS3 than the 360. Its a change from what we are used to. The only snag is that the 360 has better online and some sort of DLC.

but what i think really has the fanboys in such a tizzy is that one of the, if not THE biggest releases so far this new generation of consoles looks and runs better on the Playstation 3.

after a full year of crappy Playstation 3 ports by devs that, frankly, just don't care, since the start of this year, we've seen a nice turnaround for the PS3. Devil May Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, and others are just a handful of games that run equally, and in some cases BETTER, than the 360 counterpart.

GTA is one of the most recognizable gaming franchises in the WORLD, and by hardcore gamers, mainstream gamers, and non-gamers alike, for good or ill.

the series is more popular than Halo, after nearly as many games (only counting the 3D iterations of GTA).

the fact that it runs and looks better on the PS3 must really, REALLY sting the PS3 haters.

my advice: just let it go. GTAIV is a great game no matter what system you own it on, and it's been said numerous times that the Blu Ray drive, and the built in hard drive across ALL Playstation 3 models wee an asset, not a hinderence, whereas we've been hearing, quite a bit, and even more so these days, that the lack of a higher storage medium on the 360, whether it be disc based, or hard drive based, is going to cause the 360 more trouble in the future.

there is no doubt in my mind that the 360 is a capable system. i have one, and i've seen first hand what the machine can do, but that lack of HDD standard, and being forced to use a dual layer DVD is what's hindering it's potential in the LONG RUN.

Microsoft won some short term (and short lived, to put it frankly) victory by releasing the console early, at it's current specs, but the 360 will have more problems than these issues sooner, rather than later.

it's unfortunate, as i'd hate for Microsoft to abandon the 360 like it did the X Box, leaving a lot of X Box 360 owners in the dust. i was an original X Box owner burned by MS moving to the 360, taking all of it's key franchises with it, forcing me to upgrade if i wanted to continue to play those games. there are *STILL great games being released on the Playstation 2, going into it's NINTH year; that's how you build brand trust and respect from your fanbase, not abandoning your product after four years because you didn't suddenly dominate the industry like Sony did back when the PS1 launched.

i was always getting the PS3 version of GTAIV, and i ashamedly admit that i have a little bit of a smirk on my face now that it's been said, repeatedly, that the PS3 version of the game is technically the more superior version, considering the unnecessary bashing Playstation 3 fans received for the past two years. i mean, rag on Sony and the Playstation 3 all you want, but why tear down the PEOPLE that enjoy those products? especially when they AREN'T fanboys (the fanboys deserve the ridicule they receive, but the average fan doesn't deserve it, no matter WHAT console you own).

but like i said before; GTAIV is a great game no matter what the console, and it's only a mere 4 days away. i can't wait!
