We have a full crew this week to debrief all the games played for Extra Life over the weekend. Doc and Sunny steal a friend’s copy of Batman: Arkham Origins through the Steam Family Share. Blue is screams out loud during her run through the horror game, Outlast. HP loves his Legos and loves his Marvel so you knew he was going to play Lego Marvel Super Heroes. All this and so much more (seriously we played a lot of games for charity). I hope you all enjoy.
Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League is almost here, but I can't revisit the best Arkhamverse game on PS5 without sacrificing quality.
Not a fan of Orgins. Blame it on the absence of Conroy & Hamill. Blame it on the lack of atmosphere compared to Asylm. Hell blame it the devs thst dicked over Wii U owners like me that purchased the game only for support be dropped as a thank you to me. It's better than Knight but that's not saying much. I don't care for that entry either.
tbh buying a game like that for WiiU should’ve been an obvious non-purchase when it existed on better hardware.

my favorite Batman is Batman and Robin on mega drive.. an HD REMASTER of that would still look glorious

Buying any AAA game of that era for a WiiU you should’ve known you’d be sacrificing graphics and load times.

Titles like these are designed to get you to come in, go to their comment section and tell them how they're so wrong so they can boost their numbers.
Even though its not the best arkham game in the series, its still an enjoyable game in its own right. What it do really well at though, was the crime investigations scenes. Which imo, were the best of the franchise.
I don’t know about best game but it definitely has the best story and boss fights.
Never played it and recently I've finally tried it via cloud on psn. It's not the best for sure, but it ain't bad either.

Kind of a shame how quickly this game fell off after it's popularity. It even got a movie faster than any other horror game of the last decade. Still an interesting concept and design for the cryptid.
True. If there's one takeaway I'll consistently have for Slender Man, as a property, is its rise to prominence from humble origins. I think Amnesia: The Bunker would be a great foundation to look at for new ideas too. There's still hope for him to star in a stellar title, but Blue Isle (or another dev) has to look past this incongruent mishmash of templates.
Was it ever actually good was basically meme worthy from day 1 and resulted in some quick cash in attempts the whole concept felt like it was built off of a early 2000s forward to X number people or X will appear at night and kill you.

Your thoughts on The Eight Pages (freeware game) seem closely aligned with me. Even at the beginning, I found the execution to be flawed. But what I'm arguing is I think someone *could* make a good Slender game. Amnesia: The Bunker can be a good place to look as to how it could be done were he the sole villain.

I will give Blue Isle Studios credit for showcasing what Unreal 5 can provide to smaller games and teams, but sadly, mechanic-wise, nothing else of importance has been added.
