Creative Director at Sony Santa Monica shows Journey running on PlayStation 4

Nathan Gary is a creator director at Sony Santa Monica. He recently tweeted a picture of his PlayStation 4 and shows us Escape Plan, flow and Flower running on it. What's more shocking is how he concludes it with Journey running on same TV. Does this mean we are getting Journey on PS4?

Damn, I was so sure that this was coming to PS4 already that I thought nothing of the title.
It's like, obviously Journey is getting ported to PS4 after the list of other PSN instant classics made it.

I saw that as well, will gladly add a free updated version of Journey to my PS4. For this who haven't played it, make sure to crank up the volume on your tv on your play through! The music and sound effects fits the moments perfect. Would recommend this to anyone that says indie titles are not worth your time.

Well, those games use Sony's Phyre Engine. All they had to do is update the engine to newer version, and make some tweaks.
It would be a loss for them NOT to do that.

To everyone who has a ps3 and hasn't played this game, you need to go get it now, seriously, you're doing yourself a disservice buy not playing this.

This is by far one of the best indie games you will have ever played.

Great game, people who say indie games aren't on par with AAA really need to rethink that logic. Some of the best experiences I've had, have been Indie games.

It might have been an independent studio but the game was funded by Sony Computer Entertainment America and Co-Developed by Sony Santa Monica. Comparing it to something like The Binding of Issac is.. unbalanced, imo.

But I do agree with your overall point regarding indies and this game of course was fantastic.

Playing online co-op through the entire Dead Nation campaign (as well as the DLC) with my brother placed it on the same level as any of these big name titles.
Super Stardust, Shatter, Fat Princess, Dungeon Defends, Castle Crashers and tons of others have been great this gen.

I can't really imagine gaming without the mix of big and small titles. Just because FF7 was out doesn't mean people weren't still having fun playing Tetris, breakout or bust-a-move back in the day. The PSP had a ton of these titles too like Lumines, Patapon and they were just as fun as the bigger name games/established franchises. They all start somewhere.

We all like them, no point in trying to deny it, I looks forward to seeing them continue in to next gen too.

Exactly on another note TRINE 2 complete edition is also coming to PS4, and will be native 1080p at 60fps,that too is another game people need to experience, its just MIND BLOWING! the art. the music, the graphics all come together to create a experience like no other, i have trine 2 on wii u and on ps3 and its a great game!

Am so happy these games are coming to PS4, clearly they will be the definitive console versions of said game. MAN SONY IS ON FIRE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

Art, pure and simple and with the way things are going I'm glad more people will have the opportunity to play it themselves.

It's coming to PS4 and there's no question about it. It'll probably be there day 1 at launch too.

Journey and Flower are 2 of my fave games of all time. I just wished that the graphics on Journey were a little better and now I can die a happy guy...I can't WAIT for 60fps 1080p sand surfing goodness!!

So true. That's why I game, for gems like Journey and Trine. Sure, I'll stay up all night playing Fallout and Splinter Cell but to experience a game like Journey on a rainy Saturday afternoon, with my pulse 7.1 headphones is just awesome.

Dont want to be 'that guy' but the article says "presumably" running on ps4.

No confirmation that its running on ps4

No confirmation that even if its possible, that they're going to do it.

No confirmation that it'll be upgraded in any way, just like we've had no confirmation that the other games will be anything other than straight ports of the PS3/Vita versions.

I want this as much as the next person, but temper your expectations and learn to see what is actually there not what you want to see.

Not sure about the other titles being upgraded or straight port but even if all they do is raise the resolution the games will end up looking better.

I understand your statement though, people are jumping the gun with these upgrade claims when it's not even officially announced yet but we're just happy to see them come with us. The more the merrier!
