"If you’re a fan of SNES RPG music, than this will be right up your alley. Video game music aficionado Mark Reichwein is accepting donations for a Kickstarter project that sees him composing new boss themes to classic SNES RPGs in their original style.
The project, if successfully funded by Nov. 14, will result in a seven-track album comprised of new boss battle music done using the sounds and instruments of each respective SNES RPG, including titles like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, Earthbound, Secret of Evermore and Super Mario RPG. Three backers who have pledged $50 to the project get their pick of which game Reichwein will compose a boss tune of.
At the time of this writing, the project has amassed $758 of its $1000 goal with twelve days to go. Original boss themes from Final Fantasy VI and Chrono Trigger have already been released on YouTube. Be sure to check those out after the break, and give his Kickstarter page a visit." - Patrick Kulikowski
One of the most beloved entries in Square Enix’s long-running franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary and that’s cause for celebration!

Are you excited for the forthcoming Visions of Mana? This retrospective of the Mana series will tell you all about the franchise thus far.
After 20 long years, can Square Enix finally give us the coveted cover-art version of the game?
I'm still waiting for a proper Final Fantasy game that looks exactly like Yoshitaka Amano's art. Dissidia proved how ridiculously amazing that would look like but it was still not close enough. They need to go for broke on Amano's art style and design.
I don't care if it's a remake of 5 or 6 or a new entry, just make it happen at some point in this life time SquareEnix...
FFVI has one of the best boss battle themes in gaming, in my opinion. :]
Every time I go through that game again, I'm always looking forward to the next boss just because of that theme.
For games these days I would pick kingdom hearts. Its themes is just MasterPiece
