The Weekly 5: Most Badass Playable Characters

We all look at certain character within games and just think “Damn, that is one badass mother-…!” These are the characters we wish we could be, the cool kids, the legends! They seem to have this special aura surrounding them, an authority that allows them to do whatever the hell they want and no one can stop them. Here is streaking pirates list of some of the most badass playable characters.

yeah i also think these are the most badass character i've ever played ,i dont know about lubu because i never played these games but for me first is trevoer ,2nd is master chief and then comes kratos ,but i'am not completely sure about snake as he is not the most badass charecter i've played ,may be we will see more about him in mgs 5 ,but still he is agreat character.

Snake is not that much of a badass indeed (at least not Solid Snake), I mean he's incredible, but he mostly plays by the book... But now that I think of it, maybe that's exactly what makes him a badass, even stranded by moral laws other character don't follow as well as respecting rules of engagement, he'll still make through all odd and emerge victorious. But what about Big Boss (the guy aiming through eyepatch)? Now that's a guy with a passionate speech and cold actions, a cynical, a violent man when he feels like he needs too. A real badass.

Trevor is no Badass, he's simply deranged and that's why it's so fun to play as him. I ask myself if Kratos don't goes borderline with the same category, the difference being he's completely lucid, but blinded by rage.

And Master Chief? I agree he's an awesome character with notes of silent badassery added as it was developed (there's even some Clint Eastwwod feel to him), but it feels weird to put it like that... You see, Master Chief was designed to be a vessel to the player (as discussed by Bungie itself many times), the idea was to not have him speak much, not have a face or expression exactly for the player to feel like it was her/himself in the game, so I guess he's only as badass as you see it.

Anyway, all 5 are amazing characters. I don't know about LuBu either, but still a nice list.
