"Snowboarding videogames were a pretty big deal a few years ago. I can recall pouring countless hours into 1080° Avalanche and SSX Tricky over the course of just a few years. Pretty quickly, though, the snowboarding game craze blew over, and snow-sport games in general haven’t gotten much attention in games ever since. Last year’s SSX reboot was the most recent to try breathing new life into the genre, but it did so with very little success. All that said, for some odd reason, skiing hasn’t been too deeply explored in the videogame space, and Poppermost Productions is trying to fix that." - Ben Textor | The Analog Shtick

SNOW has some charm to it, but it's brought down by large and small issues such as heavy controls, frustrating design choices, and technical glitches.
Both the free-to-play and Ultimate Editions of SNOW are now available to download.
Tis the season, so it’s time to turn the heating up high and sit back with some great Wintery games.
Maybe Dead Space 3. It wasn't that great of an entry in series, but I recall a lot of snow.
