Forced Review | Gamereactor UK

GR-UK writes: "The real draw here is the well balanced mix of ingredients, along with the unrelenting challenge. When everything falls into place and you're working well with a team and hitting the right notes, Forced is great fun to play. There were several levels that took what felt like an eternity to complete, and this was somewhat frustrating, and the razor-sharp difficulty means that this game isn't going to suit all tastes. However, co-op orientated gamers are urged to check it out. You might die a lot, and at times you'll hate the game to its very core, but it's the good kind of hate, the kind that keeps you coming back for more."

"robbing some players of an effective means to grind loot."

Loot drops like candy. Bounties can easily be farmed and you get a ton of loot with each mission/stronghold you do. Every level up gets you 2 to 3 top end items each time. And Recalibrating loot that isn't max level bumps it up over 500 easily. People were exploiting a bug to get loot by just relogging or jumping between servers (including a youtuber who did the same in Anthem, but said he'd only did it because it was pve only), and now everyone suffers.

ZTGD | Forced Review

John Whitehouse writes: It was bound to happen sooner or later; Ken often throws these twin-stick shooters my way, as I generally have a ton of fun with them (See my Crimsonland review). But the honeymoon had to end, its just a shame it was forced on me so quickly (geddit).

Forced Review | TXH

Joao writes "The graphical style, the isometric view, the fantasy theme; everyone remembers titles like Diablo 3 and Torchlight, but Forced is different in its nature. This is indeed an action RPG but is instead based in a number of arenas in which, either alone or with up to four players in co-op, you have to beat a series of increasingly powerful enemies using not only strength but also the ability to solve puzzles."

Not really what I expected it to be, and if I can't get some friends to buy it too then it seems a no go.
